I'm not pretty convinced of it BUT he dated Hanna Mangan which is a british woman and he's american.

If we are talking about crushes... his Sun is at 1 degree tight conjunct my NN.His Juno is exactly conjunct my DC. His Venus is 5 degrees away from my Vertex.these are signs of positive karma from a past life. I have this kind of indicators with my crushes.
With people I usually interact with I have negative karma. its normal.

About Venus in 9th.
I have 7th house Ruler in 10th house for example. I should date only famous people. Venus is in Leo and my Sun is in 9th house. Famous and foreign people.
It's not a rule. But I'm his case it could be.

I also have venus in 9th house and never dated a foreign.I don't see foreigns anywhere near me but I feel attraction to them.Which could be his case,the situation was presented so he took it.

Just a guess.I think is easier using the houses instead the appearance.
