Hello, and welcome to Love It and Hate It. The rules are really simple.

1.) You must choose a placement or aspect.

2.) You must "love it" or "hate it". It's not required, but it's recommended on your opinion why you chose your answer, and also sharing personal experiences with that placement or aspect.

I'll choose something very simple.

My own sun. Libra.

Love it or hate it? Why (optional)?

This is very cool. Hope I got the directions right

Ok Libra Sun. I don't like it cuz it does not have enough power to make a strong ego.

It is not that I don't like people with Libra Sun.

I think it is a hard placement for a person to have.

I like Libra Sun people cuz they are considerate and try to be kind to others.

hmmm inclined to say hate it! The few mars in scorpio people I know definitely have controlling tendencies. Besides that, there's the tendency to want to completely possess the "other" by manipulating and testing them.

I choose: sun conjunct venus in synastry!

I have Sun-Venus double whammy in my synastry and it is an absolute delight in every way.
I have nothing negative to say about it. It oozes love.

What do you think of Sun- Saturn hard aspect in the natal chart.?

Anything that conjuncts my Cancer Sun. I hate it!! haven't really figured out why though. Or it might simply be that my Capricorn Moon is stronger than I thought and I can't stand the oppositions.

Charlie,

The rules of the game: you comment on the placement the person above you asked about then ask about whatever placement you want.

So, Sun Saturn hard aspect in natal chart, do you love it or hate it?

Ok, if Charlie doesn't want to play then I will be next. Sun Saturn hard aspect in natal chart. Hate it. Sun is ruled by Leo and it wants to shine. Saturn will keep trying to put out the light/fire. Pessimism, hard life, father issues etc.

Mars in Aquarius in man's chart. Love it or hate it?

Mars in Aquarius in man's chart - absolutely love it! My favourite cousin has it and he's always full of plans and ideas which could often be quite strange, but they are never dull, and always wonderful. I've never met a man who can surprise you in such an amazing way as he does. He's also into New Age techniques and he often uses them to get what he wants. He's also quite driven and successful but in a non-obtrusive way.

Ok, here's mine: Sun conjunct Mercury

I've got an opinion on that one, but I'd really like to hear what other people think.

Sun conjunct Mercury? I'm gonna have to go with hate it.

All of their reasoning and opinions come from their personality. I don't really see them being objective and they're not good at taking perspective either. I've even noticed they have a tendency to bring back any topic back to themselves and just talking about themselves in general. I find most Mercury conjunctions to be frustrating.

I'M SORRY IT'S NOT PERSONAL

Anyway, thoughts on Venus in 6th?

Venus 6th house.

Lol and every time we touch, I get this feeling.

And that feeling is no.

I have to go with "hate it". "Hate" is pretty extreme but I gotta go with the rule of the game here lol. I'm neutral about people with 6th house placements, which in my book is pretty good.

I find it hard to feel the "love nature" of 6th house venus and the way they express affection. It's ok in professional relationship. Further than that, it sinks. In my experience, they're quick to dismiss things that are not "factual". Their mind is orderly, they are not into quaint, fleeting musings. Feel sort of "disconnected", "isolated".

Idk, I suppose if I try, I could appreciate them more and take the relationship further. The thing is, I'm into the things they don't care much for, n vice versa. It sort of discourages me that we can't really "get" an important part of each other. Meh.

A good thing I've noticed is that they tend to have appreciation for community work and volunteering. They have positive opinion about charitable works, and/or participate (to various degrees). This kindness, I assume, is one of the manifestations of having this benefic in 6th house.

Now, I'd like to hear about mercury aspects in synastry, please and thank you. In practicular, mercury conjunct the luminaries and/or venus. Detailed reasons and experiences if you don't mind sharing.

Hmm okay, I'll take mercury in synastry:

Mercury, in my experience (and what Ive witnessed) tends to play a big role in the beginning of a relationship and is overlooked.

Yes, there is attraction between two people that comes from something physical/ internal, whathaveyou. But a BIG reason someone takes that step from gazing at a woman across the bar to actually going on the first few dates comes down to what mercury is doing. Mercury = wit, communication, that spark that happens when your personalities click and you can't stop talking. That first night spent only talking until the sun comes up is often the fuel to build a longterm love affair.

Simply put: You can have sex with someone and have it be the best physical/ passionate sex of your life, and still move on from them the next day and never look back.

But if you spent a night in each others' arms without the sex talking about everything under the sun, moving on like that would feel unnatural. At the very least, you have established a bond.

So OKAY aspects:

The Stay-up-all-night-talking aspect I can think of most is Mercury conjunct Venus. I have had this with a couple of people, and have it now with my boyfriend. I am the Venus and he is the mercury. Since we first became friends, 2 years ago, he was someone I instantly got along with. We would go out for long walks and those conversations made me nervous and giddy, even if he barely said anything worth noting. It just FEELS GOOD to talk to him. We've never gone a day without speaking in all this time. It is an almost exact conjunction.

In terms of luminaries - we have mercury sextile moon. I would describe this as a very soothing aspect. I can sometimes get super ruffled and thinking the absolute worst. If I am broken up about something, he can always calm me down. I have told him on a number of occasions that for some reason no matter what is happening, once he and I are together I feel like everything will be okay. He is the mercury, I am the moon in this aspect.

With my ex, there was a mercury/ moon square that was pretty hard to get past. I am someone who remembers every harsh word spoken to me. It is a weakness I am trying every day to overcome. My ex was brutal when pushed. He could rip me to shreds. It was as if we went from being each others' best friends to sworn enemies in minutes, and he really broke my heart. He was mercury, I was moon. Our fights destroyed any chance of a future friendship. I just can't get past some of the crap he pulled.

Hope this was enough of an insight!

I'm going to go with.... Pluto transiting the 12th. Next person, go!

Oh, I guess because you asked for multiple mercury aspects in synastry, I didn't pick if I love or hate it haha.

So, simply put: I love the happy mercury aspects! I hate the merc/ moon square in synastry. There ya go.

Pluto transiting the 12th - Love it

When I was born, Pluto was in my 1H so I will never have a Pluto through 12H transit but from what I've read it doesn't seem so bad. It's a transit of honesty so it's a an opportunity to open yourself up to others and face your unconscious fears, face your insecurities and sort out whatever problems you have within yourself and with others. If you succeed to rip the rewards of this transit (meaning you have to Not avoid but but embrace it) then when Pluto leaves 12H and approaches your 1H/Asc, you will be ready for it. Because and if your insecurities, personal issues, complexes have been dealt with, you are now a stronger person. That's the idea.

Aries Asc in an Aries Sun individual. Love it or hate it?

I'll go with "love it" although it's an empty love it since I don't know anyone with this placement (don't know many Aries Suns either)

I think a person like this would be very driven and very courageous. They would call a spade a spade and take no sh*t from anybody. Even though they may have self-centeredness and ego issues I think that in a world like ours where everyone is so complacent and dependent on acceptance and propriety we need people who aren't afraid to stand up and tell it like it is even at the expense of negative reaction and are not afraid to fight either.

I even feel like Aries is the only sign of the zodiac that can make every other sign shut up.

I have an odd one - Venus/MC conjunction is a RELOCATION chart

Meyray,

If nobody replies, choose something else to keep the game going. You asked about Venus on the MC in relocation chart. Wouldn't interpretation be the same as for natal chart though?

Oh, I'm tired, and didn't read the rules...

I have Moon/Venus in my 10th house, in my chart for the part of this State that I've lived in, since I was nineteen. I also have Mars in the 7th. I'm not sure what to think of it.

When we first moved here, I was an artist, so that placement would be fitting. I sold a painting, later that year. I think now, it just shows more in my expressing myself.

You've just reminded me, that I never look at transits, as they're hitting that chart. No wonder Neptune hitting them all, and Chiron (transiting), hit both my relationships, and my "public" life!

I don't know what to ask. Meyray has already talked about Aries Suns and ascendants. I won't ask about Venus in Gemini.

I will say that I hated that Neptune/Chiron transit, especially the square to my Moon. I think if you can blame planets for anything, that's what hurt me emotionally. Self-esteem shot, etc, etc. So, Chiron transits (hard): Love or hate?

Libra sun, love them because my moon naturally affiliates with them!!!

I have a love\hate relationship with almost everything, I blame this on my sun\moon square and my Gemini venus.

I want to bring this back for a second because there's an aspect I'm curious about.

Hard Chiron transits?

The last time I had a hard Chiron transit was in 2007 - Aquarius Chiron square my stellium. I was 12 back then lol. But in all honesty from what I can remember everything was okay. In fact 2007/2008 were years I remember fondly. Before that was difficult and after that too. That exact period I was happy and I felt like I was actually given a break. And Saturn was in Leo squaring my stellium from the other side too!

HOWEVER something traumatic did happen in 2009 which I suspect occurred when Chrion was square my DSC ruler... But other stuff was going on as well.

I don't know. I'll go with "Don't hate it". I can't say I love it but I definitely don't think it's the worst.

Okay! Give me info on this one - Moon conjunct ASC in synastry

I wasn't going to be around for a while, but came back to see if you'd seen my post. Oh my god, you were only 12, ten years ago? I thought you looked young, but damn.

Chiron conjunct my Moon/Venus/SN ended up being nice, when I was 8. My mother moved us away from her sociopath boyfriend, and I made friends that I still have, too many years later. They're all in a different country, though (England).

I think I've just dealt with too much trauma this decade. It was too much - I had someone doing their best to crush my self-esteem, my dogs were getting older, and starting to die (one per year *cries*), four cats died within a month of each other (virus) in 2011, my cousin died in 2011, with that square and conjunction I mentioned (Neptune and Chiron, as well as cardinal being hit by Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto). grandmother died in 2010, an Uncle in 2013, an aunt in 2014, my favourite aunt in 2015, and then my mum last year, followed by another uncle. Chiron was moving through my 4th house, most of that time. My family life was trashed there, for a while, too. It's never fully recovered.

Neptune/Chiron was when I was also accused of something I didn't do, and I've never got past that. I did nothing to attack back, except argue, but it's still with me. Which reminds me of this:
"Because that's what abusive men do. They know enough to target the women with the least support - the ones people least want to believe." http://twitter.com/sadydoyle/status/841388446639886342

I have Chiron conjunct my Sun and Mercury natally, and this has happened numerous times to me. I'm so over it.

I would pick that i 'hate it' though hate would be too strong of a word. 'troubling' is more accurate. i feel like this placement would attract argumentative types when it comes to friends and acquaintances, even borderline violent (given other factors). mars in the 11H also is an 'airy' mars as it is the house of Aquarius, so this could add a coldness to a person.

but i would think that the major plus side to this is huge inclinations toward humanitarian activities
