Hey everyone, long time no talk! I wanted to hear everyone's experiences with socializing with the rising sign that shares your own rising's signs planet or is co-ruled by your planet and how that interaction went. For example, I was at a networking event, and this guy kept looking over at me and giving me the once over. I ignored him, he didn't seem that attractive to me anyways. Once he approached me and we started talking, I suddenly was much more attracted to him and we had a lot in common it seemed. I am a Libra riser, and it turns out he is a Taurus riser. Both ruled by Venus. For Reference: Aries: Ruling Planet= Mars, Co-ruled by Scorpio (How do you Aries risers react to Scorpio risers and vice versa? Gemini: Ruling Planet= Mercury, Ruled also by Virgo (How do you two interact) Libra: Ruling Planet= Venus, Co-ruled by Taurus Sagittarius: Ruling Planet= Jupiter, Co-ruled by Pisces Capricorn: Ruling Planet= Saturn, Co-ruled by Aquarius IP: Logged |

Yes, I have always found them quite attractive. The grace and delicate beauty of their every move stays with me and I will sometimes comes to tears with the thought of them. Even made a quilt depicting the subtle allurement of the pose. IP: Logged |

I have cap rising.I find them pleasing to look at. Well at least the ones I know. Aqus placements in general are alright. Make excellent superiors and conworkers. They are probably the least likely to hover and get all over my grill. Emphasize on responsibility and independence. My saturn influence can appreciate that. IP: Logged |

Hmmm so I have Aquarius which is ruled by Saturn but also Uranus? I have issues with both of those planets. Haha. I see them both hard at work in my charts, and when they're working in my favor life is a dream, but when they are trying to "teach me something" I feel like I am being crushed. It's way too much upheaval and intensity when that happens. Uranus in particular has made the swift moves to change my life in recent years. He is also sitting in my 10th house of career, natally. So when Uranus was doing some intense stuff to my chart a couple years ago, I suddenly broke things off with the guy I was seeing, moved to Europe and didn't look back. I loved that time. I traveled everywhere, did what I wanted and stopped stressing about what people thought of me so much. However. Then Uranus moved into my 2nd house of finances and has been creating insane chaos in there ever since. I am desperately waiting for that to pass. I feel like money gets ripped out of my hands after I work for it. Saturn has pretty much enveloped my whole chart and I walk this earth feeling like I always have something hanging over me. So, that's a depressing way of putting it. But yeah, I'm not so much a fan. IP: Logged |

The Virgo rising in me loathes Gemini but I can still understand him because we're from the same planet. I appreciate Gemini's curiousity. The Scorpio Moon in me can understand and appreciate Aries passion a whole bunch, despite the square Aries makes with my Capricorn Sun and Mercury. As a Scorpio Moon, Aries energy is like a big brother to me. To me, Aries is a lot more courageous and warrior like & I aspire to be that fearless. Scorpio is all about overcoming fear. The Capricorn Sun in me appreciates Aquarius people because I can trust Aquarius knowledge is granted by the seriousness and structure of Saturn The Venus Pisces in me can understand Sagittarius people and how we can be religious, fantastical, & rely on faith to get by in life. And my Mars is in Cancer and the Moon doesn't have dual rulership! IP: Logged |

I have aqua rising, but don't have any conscious experience of dealing with cap risings.I do seem to attract a lot of uranus and saturn energy though - my good friend has uranus exact conjunct his ascendant, and his saturn exact conjunct his sun (in the 11th!); and our composite rising sign is capricorn... ha. My ex also had uranus conjunct his ascendant - quirk attracts quirk it seems. Generally, I find sun sign caps a difficult proposition - I don't seem to have the patience with them, despite having a lot of saturn in my chart. I do have a lot of sun and moon aquas though. Will keep my eyes peeled for cap risings in the future IP: Logged |
