I was just doing some reading on progress moons, because my own progress moon is near the end of Scorpio right now and it has been a ride. (It hasn't helped having my natal Moon/Chiron trampled by that retrograding Uranus over and over... )

I was looking at one page discussing what they believe to be the two most difficult progressed moons: Scorpio and Pisces. it made me think about the seven year itch that many married people complain about because it could easily be seven years between the progressions of the moon from Scorpio to Pisces.

One thing that the article pointed out was that when your moon is in Scorpio and you're in a healthy relationship you seem to want to deepen that commitment. But, then when your progress moon enters Pisces, your mind moves on to a period of confusion and confused desires.

I can't help but think, due to the timeframe, that this could easily have something to do with many people's experience of the seven year itch.

Is there anyone out there who this rings true for?

Pisces and Scorpio are in friendly aspect to each other. It is unlikely for a situation started in Scorpio to become complicated in Pisces. The trine aspect is about smooth assimilation.

A relationship started in Scorpio which has survived Aquarius will experience a period of delight once in Pisces.

This is interesting - although as soon as I discovered Saturn, it occurred to me that the 7-year itch correlates perfectly with Saturn squares, which would have a huge impact on relationships.

That said, my progressed moon is currently in Scorpio, and I recently left my partner of 6 and a half years - T Saturn square N Saturn, and opposite N Venus finishing it off (thankfully).

I will do some digging in some charts...

7 year cycles relate to three things generally:

- Saturn quarter cycles (square, opposite, square, conjunct its natal position).

- Uranus passing through a sign of the zodiac, making 30° aspects to its natal position.

- Progressed Moon quarter cycles similar to Saturn in transit.

My progressed moon is in Pisces and in the 6th house. Honestly, I care but I don't care. It's like if something lands in my lap, fine but if not thats fine too. I have a lot of others who are interested but nothing that seems like anything real enough to stick too. Seems like everything comes with drama or instability , doesn't click right or work out. Ehhhh :\
