Hello everyone!

What is natural house or planet for tattoos? Or how their natal chart indicate if someone has tattoos on their body parts?

I would love to know your opinions, thanks!

Tattoos/body art have become to common for them to represent any real individual distinction. I also hesitate to name any house for this either since you'll find plenty of people with tattoos among all rising signs, empty first houses or nothing in particular going on there. But such distinctions are relative to culture. I can only speak for where I live in the USA.

Pluto/Scorpio. That's the reason why many born in the mid/late 80s and early/mid 90s are heavily tatted up.

When I think tattoos I think 'fixed signs'. Tattoos are long term things, and hard to get off.

I'm thinking Scorpio and Aquarius. Maybe Leo may get a tattoo to express themselves.

But I agree with everyone saying Scorpio.

Vin Diesel has many frivilous tattoos, IIRC they even include from the Necronomicon and an old Dungeons & Dragons character he used to roleplay as a kid. This gives his chart and even shares of other famous people that share similar aspects to compare/contrast:

Why would Scorpio be inclined to get tattoos? I'd think that would conflict with protecting their privacy and feelings, would probably seem too trivial (unless it was specifically designed to represent someone lost to them, or perhaps a deeply revered cause, and even then it would probably be well hidden), and probably interfere with any ambitions of power and respectability they are reputed to have (unless they're with certain criminal syndicates in which tats are like medals to soldiers, including the kind that the crime syndicate will exact terrible retribution if you get a tat you don't deserve, in which case getting tats serves ambitions and status rather than a liability against it).

I can't even think of self-destructive Scorpios into tats, not even the one who cut and burned herself on purpose from time to time (though she was legally too young to get tats at the time, she still never expressed any interests in them for herself or on anyone else, that was just "meh" to her).

I am wondering if venus plays a part in it or?

I have 3 tattoos that are refined and in refined areas. My venus is in Gemini and I have a butterfly tattoo, hence the name colorful butterfly. At the same time , I have this tattoo because when I was little I would trace my Dads tattoos of a butterfly on his arm with my finger. Hard to say if venus , social butterfly( gemini) or Cancer sun ( sentimental). I have a rose on my hip and biblical hebrew on my foot. The hebrew says child of god, ( virgo rising) and the rose? I know most libra moons love roses, or thats what I read atleast so ( libra moon?)

I think in general, symbols that you place on yourself are telling of yourself in ways.

I would immediately think Scorpio and the 8th house because of how tattoos started to really peak in the mainstream during the Pluto in Scorpio generation and how tattoos used to be seen as a taboo. Interestingly enough, one of my astology books lists Mars and Saturn without any indication of Pluto. I'm assuming it's because of Mars' relation to sharp, pointed, metal objects that could symbolize the needle and Saturn's relation to skin, ink, and permanence. I've also read that if Saturn is located in either your 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, 10th, or 11th house, or you have your Sun, Venus, and/or Mars in the 10th that you are more prone to decorate yourself with tattoos.

However, I am both Saturn and Mars dominant with also Saturn located in my 11th house and have no tattoos nor ever had an interest in getting any at all, at least not yet.

I'm Virgo with Libra rising Saturn conjuncts Pluto in 1st house,Jupiter in 1st.

Tattoos have different meanings in different parts of the world.

In the West they are a subculture and usually associated with fashion and rebellion from the norm - Venus and Uranus ?

In Polynesia and Mesoamerica they served important social functions as a rite of passage - 9th House and possibly Saturn ?

In India and the Middle East temporary henna tattoos are used as decoration and for weddings, festivals, traditions etc. - 7th, 9th House and Venus ?

In Japan and Russia predominantly (and in the West somewhat) they are associated with mafia, being in jail and organized crime - 12th House and Pluto ?

I don't think you can put them in one single category although I guess you can say that body modification in general is Uranus ruled.

ruler of 10th in a hard aspect to mars (maybe uranus too)

this person most likely likes to get hardcore tattoos to give off the "don't mess with me" vibe

johnny depp has venus (MC ruler) square mars (and uranus too)

sexy tattoos (usually in covered parts of body) --> pluto aspects

if the ruler of the 10th is pluto, square/op/conj mars, then the tattoos might be sexy too

harry styles and zayn malik have ugly tattoos,

styles has his MC ruler (sun) conjunct mars, and his sun is square jupiter, and his tattoos are goofy

zayn has his MC ruler (jupiter) square mars, and he has sun square jupiter too, his tattoos are goofy too, and he kinda has gone overboard with them too

Tats are so standard nowadays that I'm not sure Astrology is related.

Seems like a mutable thing to me.

Although the whole tattoo concept is very fixed, permanently staying on you for life, i think it takes mutability (putting an end to something) to desire to get it.

Have a virgo/leo cusp friend who got one.
