if the planet is within 10 degrees of the 12th house, you can count it as conjunct the Ascendant, in my opinion

8th HouseThis native will not be shallow. He will not have time for shallow people. He lives in the realm of depth. He may have excellent perception. He may have the kind of eyes that seem as if they look right through you and THEY DO! i have my sun right on the 8th cusp and it's very true !! people are just looking everywhere but not in the eyes when they talk to me...like they feel i can see through them...and idd the crystal is clear my dear for me... but sometimes i can't even myself look through to the eyes of others as i can see almost their soul and their own traumatic past xp etc...which is unbearable sometimes for me... but to me it deals with 8th chiron conjunct my natal moon so i am very sensitive to others pain through my own pain as they can't hide it with my insight powers allocated in many places of my chart... Yes. This fits very well. Admittedly even the Oreos. [2nd House This native will, likely, be practical and have good common sense. Good common sense is a trait that is not appreciated enough. Glitter and glamour fades. Good common sense sticks around to nourish the native, as well as others.
