First of all, let’s talk about Uranus. Uranus rules electricity. Electricity is a ground breaking invention. Mankind would go back to the Stone Age without it. However, if you do not pay attention and stick your finger in the socket, you are a goner. I will be honest, Uranus scares me. He does not do much in my chart. He is, almsot Unaspected, actually.Hence, I can define him, rather than have him define me.

I have had much pain at the hands of a Uranian mother with an exact opposition of Jupiter and Uranus. She loved to shock. There were many times in which she would tell me a horrible story and laugh when I cringed. This is a bad use of Uranus, shall we say, but Uranus in hard aspect can make people like to shock others.

Uranus is unpredictable. He may wear a tux to the beach and tennis shorts to a formal dinner. He may dye his hair pink, if he knows that it will make eyebrows rise. On the hand hand, Uranus confers a kind of brilliance that is “out of the box”. I like to use the example of the inventor of velcro. Millions of people have had a burr stick to their clothes, but ONE used that phenomenon to invent velcro. I would bet that man had a strong Uranus, most likely Uranus conjunct the Sun, at a close orb.

People with a strong Uranus move to a beat of a different drummer. They shift paradigms. All of this sounds wonderful and it is. The problem could be in too much brilliance, perhaps. Brilliance may have a spectrum into which it moves to madness. I don’t know if this is the explanation, but many people with strong Uranus struggle with instability. The conjunction is a hard aspect, as is the square, opposition and quincunx. Uranus in trine confers brilliance and creative genius, without the dissonance of the hard aspects, so this native is blessed.

Let’s move to the MC and explore possibilities. The native with Uranus conjunct the MC would likely be very visible. By this, I mean that he would not be a shrinking violet. If one was at a party, one would notice him in the crowd. I am thinking of one man that stuck out to me in a party. I don’t know why the walls seemed to buzz around him but he had that kind of electrical aura. That would be classic for Uranus conjunct the MC.

The Uranus conjunct the MC native may have an unusual career. He may have unusual habits. He may dress in a unique way. I am thinking of Elton John. I don’t know his Uranus placement but he embodies my example. Cindy Lauper would be another. The most dominant trait he would have is that he will not conform to the norms of society and/or others. He will create his own norms.

Elton John has Uranus in Gemini opposing Asc in Sag
Cyndi Lauper has Uranus in trine aspect to the Moon

I have Uranus in parrallel aspect to Merc,Jup,Nep and the Midheaven. I don't know if you would consider the parrallel aspect in interpretation. But I think it potent.

My experience with Uranus is not so much the "love" to shock. But its the tendency to say things "off the cuff" -as people say. And also the "clutch pearls" outcome is hardly ever planned. It just happens.

The downside to it is if you have a conservative Moon/Sun . The "disruptions" Uranus can bring about can have you feeling anxious/ on edge-making personal relationships quite tricky. Because you are always expecting things to change.

As a Moon in Cancer Arcing to the 4th house with square to Mars, this added parrallel aspect of Uranus to the Mc/Ic axis adds more instability to the emotional life.

I was always the new guy in school. I didn't mind it when i was younger. But i realise that it also robbed me of consistent,close relationships . And that is why I am a differing brand of Cancer Moon

Add to this, I find it fitting that my closest friends are strongly Uranus influenced.

My best friend has Uranus ruled Aquarius Sun/Venus and Uranus in square aspect to Moon,Mer,Mars

The other has Uranus opposing Sun,square Moon and Mercury

Uranus conjunct MC conjunct Lilith Conjunct Neptune on 10th in Cappy... all within 4 degrees, but Uranus seems to make the connection between all of them.

Symptom no1. - can't keep a clear steady job.
S2 - too many interests (but this is due so Sun in Gemini, Moon in Acqua...)
S3 - eccentric in many ways...not all obvious
S4 - I'd appoint sleeplessness here. My best productivity hours start at 7 PM.
and so on.
