Has anyone had this yet? I'd love to hear what you guys have experienced. Pluto just legit started transiting my 8th house a few months ago. Not sure what to expect. Out of all the outer planets, Pluto is the one I usually disregard the most. Maybe because I don't really feel its effects. IP: Logged |

That would make sense-since it is so slow moving. On my end,I consider Pluto to be what you would call "closing chapters" or "new beginnings". As there is something "final" about the transit-especially when it changes signs. Pluto in 8th is said to be "home" here and thus makes the generic Scorpio themes prevalent. In the 8th, there are sudden shifts/up and downs. And at worst losses, but for some others gains. Pluto in 8th could focus on digging or going underneath. Some internal investigation, follow through or finding the answer to internal questions asked that may not be available on Google. One may come face to face with sexuality issues, mortality fears, possible despondency with regards to the future, questions of personal "purpose", an increased desire for more authentic emotional exchange, some "dark" thoughts on the possible liberating effect of suicide etc. Wherever the attention goes to,there is an extended amount of energy and/or possible obsession with that sibject; turning it inside/out constantly until letting it go and not necessarily due to an infallible resolution. Saturn moved to Scorpio in 8th by whole sign in 2012 and things got very deep for me. It was as if the superficial "surface" living was not adequate. I had to feel the "purpose" of why i was doing what i was doing. I was quite miserable. And life carried on as per usual but internally,i was cooking slowly- as the 8th is not where radical changes are initiated. But the Arc to the Mc ime. Though it wasn't Pluto,Saturn in 8th gave me a taste of what the 8th house is about. During this period, death doesn't look so bad at all. IP: Logged |

Oh yes, sorry to ramble. But I just wanted to add that during this period,I sincerely hated MONEY. Because it represented what i believed was sincerely "wrong" with the world today.I hated how everything was controlled by it, how everyone "worshipped" it and how i couldnt escape from its influence. The phrase " Money doesn't buy happiness" ittitated me around that time when i realized that it perhaps doesn't buy it, but it does make happiness more evasive when u dont have it 😐 IP: Logged |

Pluto is really really close to being in my 8th. Since it's also the house of death, my prediction would be that illnesses and death could be involved during the 14 year transit. My grandmother for instance, currently 83 years old, could pass away during that time, or develop illnesses that could lead to death. Though in my family history it's known that my relatives pass away in their 100's, or pass away due to illness, so who knows what she'll go through. My parents are getting older, still working, but has been developing problems in their bodies already and I hope it doesn't get worse. And due to starting a new job in a new location, its like Pluto is already in my 8th house(maybe my birth time is a bit off..). It's the first time that I'll be really on my own. Maybe death will come to me too, but I'd rather have that happen to me than my loved ones..IP: Logged |

@Aries23Thank you for your input. My grandpa just actually passed away yesterday. This is my first encounter with death. I am feeling a bit shocked, I really don't know how to react. It seems like Pluto is really subtle with its effects tbh. When it was transiting my 7th house, I barely felt it until it left that house. That's when I met my boyfriend and had defined for myself what I really want in a relationship. I thought the effects start when it's about to exit a house. Maybe when it first enters it too, though. It's not deep ino the 8th house yet so I can't tell the other effects other than the death of my grandpa. I am well aware I may or may not experience more deaths in the next couple of years. I've had 8th house heavy solar returns but their effects were much more obvious than Pluto actually transiting the 8th. The 8th house tends to tear you apart and then build you back up. When Pluto soon enters Aquarius, it will conjunct Uranus, so that's gonna be fun 😅. I'm bracing myself for whatever else has to come. IP: Logged |

In February 2021(and again Jan 2022 bc of Rx motion), just as tr. Pluto enters my 8th house, tr. Pluto simultaneously enters my progressed 7th House.. My AC ruler Moon is in the 8th as well.. Assuming a rebirth is in order.. IP: Logged | |
