But i have to add that this is not jugdment on my part. For it is easy for me to talk about body issues or "love yourself" mantras, when i have never felt ugly or been told that i am hideous to my face

Nor can i say that for the man/woman who wants to change their deformed face that that is "acceptable". And for another who wants thicker lips that that is "unacceptable" etc. Who am I to be the assessor of worthiness anyway?

But what i am trying to articulate here is the need to feel good. And that is at the root of all this. One wants to feel good about oneself and have others respond in like too.

Neptune can create a feeling of glamourizing things. "If i get my nose fixed, then everything will fall into place"

Venus is "do you think I am pretty/worthy"?

Jupiter can also create feelings/wanting to be everything to everyone i e "Anything you want. I got it"

What often happens with any body change is that the momentum picks up "wow, i feel so much better now" and then it is up to the individual concerned to keep it going.

So the real "work" is more internal in essence. And that is true for us all. For even the person who has attained (atleast in their definition) the " perfect" body, the realization comes through poignantly when someone walks by them with "better" physical features than they think they have.

It is natural for people to envy and want to have certain features that they find attractive. That is the nature of desire and where expansion is born.

But one can also look at oneself and be amazed at "what is". And expansion is had from here to i.e complete self love and self appreciation etc.

The most interesting scenarios in this to me are surgical gender transformations. I have studied (and rectified) the birth chart of Christine Jorgensen. It just occurred to me that I could include it in my recent little series on dealing with Pluto, because her chart is an excellent example of Plutonian surgical transformation.

I looked back over progressed chart and usually when my moon progressed into another moon, I would either lose or gain weight. Do something different to my hair or dress in a different style than my previous style but not like a drastic change over night type thing, just gradual.
