As for what would make me chase someone - myself. I have to decide if I like them or not. If the crush doesn't come from me first it's very rare for me to change my mind no matter how much the other person tries to seduce or persuade me.

This is coming from a Scorpio Sun, Moon and Venus.

You should check your Scorp's Venus, Moon and Mars for more info. What I described above may not apply to other Venus or Moon signs.

So anyway on the basis of my reflex I sometimes am confused by interest. I'm more likely to accept or perceive or delude myself that subtle cues equals attraction. This might be just in the asc placement as it doesn't necessarily fit with Scorpio Suns I've seen.

My Pluto conjuncts my Sun and Mars (in Sagittarius in the 7th which is ruled by Scorpio...)

With my Sun, Mars, and Pluto opposing my ASC.

I an very Plutonian and I couldn't agree more. Actually you just brought it to my attention

Once my mind is set, I have tunnel vision.

I personally always know when someone is attracted to me but I can't speak for all Scorpios.

One thing I've noticed is, I'm a lot more intense than even the average Scorpio. I'm like 3 layers of Scorpio instead of the ''normal" one layer. Ha.

I have a libra moon too so I'm pretty much driven by partnership with my mars sitting on my 7H cusp too. Sheesh.

I'm very straight-forward and blunt in the relationship department. I always seem to encounter blockage or opposition because of these qualities. I blame my mars in Sagittarius. I attract all types of men. Shy, outgoing, sensitive, insensitive (Haha), macho, feminine, etc.

If someone is attracted to me they'll usually get the same look in their eye. Fascination. You see a spark. I guess this is where that "Scorpio mystery" comes in (rolls eyes). I'm not arrogant at all. This is genuinely something I've noticed. & people who are usually interested in me never pass up an opportunity to get close to me in some way.

the man I know is really intimidating and all about serious stuff. We encounter at work environment so I'm pretty sure he's preoccupied with other stuff than crushes. He is also hard to know, because he talks about himself only on occasion, slowly revealing some information and then again shutting down and doing his work.

also, all the girls are flirting around with him, but it's never an initiation from his part.

unfortunately, he's a scorpio with libra venus, so I suppose he would never turn down a flirting girl, even when he doesn't like her seriously.

also, I suppose he has a capricorn ascendant, because he looks really formal and hard-working (not only looks, but actually is).

Also he has strong MC-Pluto conj, so he does no mistakes in work environment and thrives for the best and also tight Mars-Pluto square, that would explain his passionate stare and angriness from beneath, which he tries not to show.

anyway, I did my best to show him I like him in my own subtle ways (I'm really not straight forward and blunt in flirting). I was hoping he would pick up on my eyes and vibe when I talk to him as he is a scorp guy, but it seems he tries not to get too close and is distant. although he's always kinda keeping me in his visible area, always having eyes on me or stares from across the room....
