The ruler of my 10th is Saturn. Saturn sits in the 8th(whole) and 7th(placidus)

Since Saturn is restrictions anyways, this could be true in my case. But i prefer to think of Saturn as delays rather than a restriction.

As Neptune(which dissolves things) can come along and melt those restrictions-especially by solar arc/transit.

With my Saturn in 7th/8th(depending onbthe system I use), delays in relationships(7th) or intimacy(8th) are likely. True.

But with the current trine transit of Neptune to natal Saturn. That is easing.....a lot.

With the support of the warm Mars/Moon natal square and its subsequent interaction with Pluto/Jupiter/ Uranus, saying how i feel is not so uncomfortable.

Telling those that I appreciAte that I love them, does not feel "icky". Not to say I never did that(Jupiter trine Aries Asc) but I didn't do it as regularly as I do now.

And for a Venus-Saturn conjunct person. That is BIG 😊

Depends if you mean literally the 10th House ruler, or the ruler of the MC. I use equal houses so these are very different for me!

Scorpio is on the cusp of the 10th. Mars is in my 7th, conjunct NN and Jupiter (out of sign). Pluto is in my 9th in Libra. The Pluto element is interesting as I never got a university degree, which restricted my career (10H ha!), but I've now moved beyond that and am doing well in my career despite the lack of education.

My MC is in Sagittarius, so the ruler is Jupiter, which is in the 7H. Conjunct Mars and NN (as above). Interestingly, my personal relationships are often at odds with my career in various ways, ie the guys I've been with have always been subtly unsupportive of my career. Consequently, because my career and independence is important to me, holding me back does not sit right with me.

Maybe all I need now is a guy with strong scorp/Sag energy who won't be threatened by my personal independence and the spell/restrictions will be broken 😁

So for me, I'd say the 10H/Mc ruler restriction describes restriction on career. But that might not be the case for everyone.

It makes sense but it sounds a little bit pessimist to me: “where you're restricted in and lessons in life“.
When I think in 10th house I think about my career and public image and I'm cool with that.
I have 10th house in Aquarius. Uranus in Capricorn in 9th house opposite Moon, conjunct Neptune, sextile Pluto, square Ascendant 7°.
But I have Venus conjunct MC, I like 'my MC'. Also MC sextile Jupiter.
