I was a Pisces moon child. I guess I was a stereotypical Pisces in a way because I loved art, music, and I was kind of shy. I was also very intuitive. I had always been afraid of the supernatural and I think that's because I would sense when things were there that others couldn't.

I loved animals and wanted to be a veternarian when I grew up. My dog and cat were my best friend and I loved playing hide and seek with my dog.

I had a very active imagination and I even asked for a painting easel one year for Christmas when I was about 3. I was always either drawing painting or outside with sidewalk chalk making murals.

I was very sensitive and reactive to people's emotions. I was also a counselor. I wanted to help everyone be happy and I hated seeing people hurt or sad.

@polkadotstars Wow! I wonder what your chart looks like?

Would this include Moon-Neptune aspected children? And what about those who have Pisces on the Ic or Neptune there?

Aries, here's my chart. Don't mind the transits, it's from awhile ago and I was too lazy to upload a new chart on photobucket :-p

To the original poster,I might be a bit more Pisces than what you're asking of. I'm a Pisces stellium in the 8th house so I have a lot of water going on.

Hope my Pisces moon explanation can help answer your question.

Sure, they can share too. I am more asking because my daughter has a Pisces moon. It is square Jupiter in her 3rd house. She also has Uranus in the 3rd. I ask because sometimes she seems confused about how she feels or about a thought she has. She will be upset and I will ask her what is wrong. Sometime she tells me that she forgot. I have a hard time understanding, even as a water moon myself.

@polkadotstars
You are the poster child for both Pisces energy and Sun in 8th.

You(like me) have a triple conjunction. Whereas yours is in personal planets- perhaps also giving rise to your sensitivity to energies around you.

Mine is with my Sun-Nep-Jupiter (outer planets)-I am impersonal to things that affect me directly and more sensitized to political/social changes the world over.

We both have Pluto and Saturn in the same house. Whereas your is in the 4th, mine is in the 8th(including Venus)...NO, I am not sensitive to energies of ghost or poltergeist etc. But I do love me a good mystery.

You have Jupiter on the angle(traditional ruler of Pisces)in the 7th. So Jupiter is powerful in the chart.

In my case, Mars on the 7th-traditional ruler of the 8th. Mars is strong in my chart.

What a fantastic chart

@Koniucha

Moon in 3rd house suggests that emotions are sensitive to what the persons sees, hears and reads.

Scary movies or harsh words etc, tend to stay deeply imprinted in the person and they find it hard to shake those off. So keep that in mind.

Also there could be a writing talent- especially with trine aspect to Mercury and a square aspect to Jupiter.

The reason she gets confused may be that she is trying to find the correct words to describe what is going on in her head.

Tell her to describe it in an image or to draw pictures-as these can also serve to explain what is emotively happening.

With Uranus in aspect to the Moon, there could be flashes of insights but also forgetfulness

And this may be a good thing- when she has witnessed something that is horrid in nature. Uranus can wipe that away or simply make her forget.

She is a gifted child. Moon in 3rd serves to explain itself to itself(if that makes any sense).

These people tend to make sense of the world when they can make sense of emotions. And emotions have labels and better yet-imagery.

That is why I think that drawing-especially comic books or cartoons - may be her saving grace.

Mercury-Jupiter are in aspect(I suspect). Her vocabulary in time will be BIG. But with Uranus getting in there, she may express herself in a weird ,unique way i.e use words unlike other people or explain something in a manner that is understandable but very "I never thought of it that way" etc.

Moon-Mercury is in opposition in my case, so I do understand that this increases the need to say(Mercury) how one is feeling(Moon).

Give her books, music, introduce her to films as well as their soundtracks. She may take a liking to music as it is likely to move her.

But words/language/expression are likely to be the 1st love from which she will derive much pleasure from.

Thank you! I keep telling her that she needs to draw. She has a talent with that and I actually suggested a comic strip. She said she doesn't want to, but I suspect it is more because she keeps playing games on the phone or tablet. I have to gently push that.

Moon and Uranus are too wide to be conjunct, but I suspect that there is still an effect. I have moon trine Uranus and can be forgetful myself. I alsi have moon trine Mercury and like to discuss my emotions and so does she. She tells me everything.

One thing, sometimes she feels confused about how she feels about me. Like maybe she thinks she may not love me. What could that be?

You've described my pisces Moon in 3rd down to a T! My mercury (in 3rd as well) quintiles Uranus that's conjunct my Asc. I find this aspect helps me think fast and gives me the ability to think uniquely and be innovative. I do have difficulty verbalize what i'm feeling exactly or people can't understand what I'm saying?? Hahaha I think my communication skills got better as I grew older.

I hate scary movies (I used to love tho!) and hurtful words cut through my heart in pieces....

Koni, I think art (or some creative outlet) will help your daughter not only express how she is feeling, but it will also become an outlet.

When I am upset or stressed, I like to write it out. Putting all of my frustrations on paper is so freeing because sometimes it's just more satisfying to my soul to do so, rather than to talk about it. I don't like burdening people with my problems. My thoughts on paper don't judge me.

And if I'm feeling very introverted, not wanting to be around others because I'm feeling overwhelmed about something, I like to just sit down and aimlessly make art.

Thankfully with my Leo rising I'm pretty upbeat 99% of the time. But when that 1% rolls around, and I want to retreat and be alone with my thoughts, I like to let my inner voice come out on paper in some form.

@Koniucha

I dont think you should be too concerned about her not knowing if she loves you. Moon in Pisces is very changeable indeed and with Moon/Mercury also in the mix, how one feels on a day to day basis changes constantly.

When I was younger, I used to have strong feelings about Mom too that would sway up/down i.e at times i thought her great.At other times, not so great

With my Moon already conjunct the 4th,I am also very changeable. And the added opposition with Mercury and square with Mars, suggests that my passions tend to be very changeable too.

You say Moon/Uanus are too wide to be in aspect? How wide is the orb? And have you checked declinations? There could be some added information there too.

If you moved around a lot or perhaps were away from her for long periods of time as a baby or perhaps even now(weeks to months), Moon in aspect to Uranus may be at play.

Whatever circumstances there are, Moon-Uranus tends to disrupt the emotional bonding between Mom and child i.e maybe the child is born prematurely and has to be kept in an incubator? Perhaps the Mom suffers depression post birth-finding it difficult to bond with the child etc.

Or it could be that when she nurtures the child, she reinforces more of the independent qualities of the child(inducing the child to grow up quickly) and downplays the emotional aspects i.e stands away when the baby cries or tells the child to verbalize what they want more than reading emotional cues etc.

What I can say with me is that the emotional bond between my Mom and I was disrupted i.e Uranus contra parrallel Ic. And gran had to be a surrogate right at the beginning i.e the early years.

Did it affect my affections in the long term? Not really. But the pattern continued with us moving house a lot. Emotional bonds became something I was somewhat retarded at mantaining for long-even now.

Yes, Moon tends to absorb a lot. And when in the busy 3rd, flunctuating 4th, irritable 6th, easily influenced 7th, curious 9th,trendy 10th,vulnerable 12th and sensitive 1st, it tends towards being very impressionable.

Moon in 3rd,Pluto in 3rd,Neptune in 3rd, Cancer in 3rd,Scorpio in 3rd and Pisces in 3rd, have a deep resonance with the spoken,written word as well as sound/imagery.

They read emotional cues very early in life and get a flux of feelings begging to be expressed either verbally or physically(dancing/acting/singing).

Depending on what is happening to Mercury,the planet in the 3rd house as well as the ruler of the 3rd house cusp, will determine how successful/thwarted that relevant expression will be.

A square of Mars to Mercury for instance could make the individual argumentative and defensive. Whilst a trine to Neptune would make them a good listener and slow to force their opinions etc.

My mercury receives sextil from Neptune in 1st. I have days I can write well and some days omg my head is in cloud, super scattered I can't write anything!! I wish I was a better writer and my current profession and schooling requires a lot of writing. I wonder if this is because of mercury combust. My Sun is only just over a degree away from Mercury.

Neptune in 1st is highly imaginative. The sextile aspect to Mercury is the ability to "express" that.

Try music, long walks, going to museums or looking at paintings. It could evoke some very strong emotions.

Carry a notepad in your pocket. Write when inspiration hits- even if you think that it doesn't make "sense" etc. It could be valuable later when the fog clears.

^^^ Agreed!

@Aries23Degrees

Yes, I am quite imaginative and creative!
I love music and have played piano all my life, although I don't take lessons anymore.. Musicality comes very natural for me - I can easily try to recreate songs or music I hear on tv on piano. I wish I continued with my piano but my passion grew stronger as I became an adult which was pursuing career in medical science and research.

You know I've always told myself I should carry a notepad cuz I will have an idea and always forget afterwards!! I should train myself to do this!!

Thanks for the tips!

@Randal

Thanks Randall. But to be honest, most of the aspects I am either instinctively aware of or have experienced personally.

It is very hard to comment on something that I know not of.

YellowGerbera

Creativity is a gift. It helps us balance the hum-drum existence of life.

Good luck with your writing
