What dominant (sign) or Moon sign (I assume Moon sign as we are talking emotions and not relationship style) would be the most likely to say the one doesn't exist?

I recently met a man and we get on quite well (he works with my bf), we were talking about his relationship (I inquired as to where his wife was...he said she was away on the weekend...and that their wedding was in July). I asked him how did he know she was "the one?" His reply was that "the one doesn't exist." I then asked why was he getting married, and he replied that they had been together long enough (7 years), and get along.

So what natal placements would lead a person to say the above.

That sounds like a Cap moon thing to say. My bf said the same thing. He is has Capmoon and is Saturn dominant.

I would say Virgo placements as well. Virgo doesn't believe in fairytales.

Oo yes...an astrologer I watch who has Cap moon flat out said "there is no 'the one'". I have Virgo Moon but I live in fantasy thanks to natal Venus opp Uranus and Neptune

i think it depend's of the whole chart
i have saturn in 5 house and i never believed in love, even when i was a child

so...saturn in 7 and afflicted saturn/moon can play a role too, i think

It's funny I have most of the listed stuff in my chart (Saturn in 5th, Cap DC, Cap Moon Trine Saturn, and Venus Opp Saturn) and even I believe in the idea. I don't think "soul mates" exist, but I do believe there are people out there that fit with you and things just click on all levels (and it's more than just getting along). That is not to say things are easy even if you fit, as all relationships take work. I will say that I (when younger esp) would be more likely to say soul mates or the one doesn't exist when I'm in a loveless or unsatisfying relationship in which I don't feel a connection.
