This is not happening now, but I'm trying to get ready. What happens when Uranus transit conjunct natal Chiron in the 5th house, squares natal Mercury and Jupiter (in the 8th) and opposes natal Uranus? Any suggestions? How bad can it be?

4-5 years ago, i used chiron as well. when i was interacting with the girl i liked, i was playing piano, and with my chiron/dsc position, i imagined i was healing her, that i was a healer of wounds. when she was sad.

now i had a severe/extreme progression, where i am hardcore.

i no longer use chiron, because i actually thought about how astrology works. but i cant enforce that. er shouldnt

but chiron is, if you took the distance of one of the personal planets, mutliplied that by 15, and it is about the size of a 30 minute car ride. mercury would be the size of a 5000 minute car ride. but 15x as close.

ex.:

o..o...................................................o

(first o=earth, 2nd = merc, 3rd = chiron)
2nd o = 5000 min car drive, 3rd o = 30 min car ride. still think it should be used by millions?

so i dont consider it real. the only reason they use chiron is because it was the first centaur discovered, so to add variation to their lists, they wanted to add it. just like they added the first 3 asteroids discovered, ceres, pallas, and juno. even though juno has a mass 1/10th of vesta and there are 6 other local asteroids that are more massive, they are completely overlooked on all websites cause they just added a few sample asteroids.

though ceres, vesta, pallas, and even often hygia i've noticed are signfiicant in famous charts. but they are notable cause they are much larger than other asteroids.

you get destinction from size comparisons.

for example, if all the asteroids were this size:

.................. if there were thousands of them, none of them would really be destinct in your chart. however if you had a few large asteroids:

....o..........o.........

their positions would be somewhat significant. added in a few planets

......o.......XXXXX...........o.....XXXXXXXXX........

now you have some major bodies, some major asteroids, and a bunch of small, non-destinctive asteroids that don't contribute much significance.

and these size comparisons above are not accurate. mercury is 350x more massive that ceres and twice as close on average

anyway we still have the ability/want to heal regardless of if chiron has an influence on us or not. probably not even from the planets. perhaps just from human mental creativity.

I have this in the 6th, although it's a wide opposition to Uranus. Losing my mother was the most depressing thing to happen to me, so far, but there are times when I've been busier since it happened, which shakes me out of it, at least for a little while. Got my sister back, for one thing.

I can't say what it would be like for you. Uranus used to be good for me - like when it conjoined my 3rd house cusp, and my sister's Sun: we moved over here, to California, where we were happier than we had been. It was also sextile my Uranus/ascendant, and square Jupiter/Pluto. It could be good for you.

Oh, and by "this" I mean Uranus conjunct Chiron (and Ceres/Sun), opposed natal Uranus.

Soren - interesting. So you suggest Chiron has no influence. Thank you for your thoughts. Still there is the t-square between tUranus and natal Mercury,Jupiter and Uranus that I hope would not be too tense.

Teasel - I'm so sorry again for your loss. Thank you for sharing. I guess that even when we go through difficult and trying times, we grow from within so as to cope with an ever-changing reality. Still, sometimes I wish we didn't have to "grow" that way, and that reality and destiny would spare us.

Uranus has been very bad for me years ago, when it opposed my natal Mercury-Jupiter (squaring natal Uranus and Chiron). Actually, if I didn't have that experience I wouldn't be so concerned. I don't think I'd survive something like that ever again, although I also wouldn't want to make fate try and prove me otherwise. I just wish for a peaceful time, when the planets don't affect me.
