What does it mean?

This is the solar return chart in question. The chart is for a man.

I don't really pay attention to the retrograde placements.

Take a look at his transits to see if any correlate with the SR.

Pluto at the IC indicates a huge change in home in family. Either a move, death, divorce, someone moving out, in, or major changes to the structure of the house.

Jupiter conj Moon on the ASC : wearing heart on sleeve, very openly emotional this year in a expansive way

IC at the MC: Family life brought to the public.

Lots of 7th house activity: Focus on "others"/ relationships. Moon in Libra accentuates this. ASC in Libra further emphasis

Venus in 6th is usually good for health, but with Chiron conjunct, I'm not sure. There might be some type of sacrifice for health.

Saturn in 3rd: restrictions/ lessons with neighborhood, extended family members, also sometimes shows car purchases

Sorry this is so generalized. If you take a look at the transits, progressions, and lunar returns, you should be able to put together an in-depth interpretation. Look for correlating themes.

Overall does this look like a happy solar or stressful? There's a T-square but then there's also a Moon Jupiter conjunction on Asc..Sun opposite Moon points to a difficult year right? I was thinking..could it be a birth of a child? Or is this not 'happy' enough chart for that event? Divorce, affair, is that more likely? Some kind of social status change with all that focus on IC/MC + Asc/Dsc..? The man is married.

Transits
He has Jupiter going through his 7H (4 degrees past Dsc), it's in opposition to his Sun.
Uranus transiting 1H, in opposition to natal Moon
Neptune transiting 12H. No prominent aspects
Saturn transiting 9H. Trine Sun, sextile Mars

The T-square shows which issues are connected. In his case 1st, 4th and 7th houses. Self, Home & Family & relationships are the major themes.

The conjunction with Sun in the 7th doesn't scream divorce to me (although Pluto at the IC can sometimes show that). If I had to guess, I'd say that he will develop interesting relationships, and yes, a child is a possibility. Last year I gave birth and I had SR moon/ Jupiter as well, and Jupiter crossed over my DC around the same time as the birth. I also experienced a tragedy, and so that moon/ Jupiter was showing an increase of overall emotions. In his case, people are going to visibly see his emotions or possibly it is physically coming to him through a woman/ child/ etc.

I am also Aries rising. Funny enough, his SR looks like a combo of my last years SR and this years. Plus we're going through the same transits. I have all the ones you mentioned he's going through, with the exception of Uranus opposition moon (uranus is currently trine my moon). In the last 2 years I've dealt with the death of a loved one, the birth of a child, purchase of a home, change in relationships, and a desire to understand God and afterlife.

However, I don't think this guy's SR is overall bad. A lot of my bad experiences were caused by Neptune/ Saturn transits. His Saturn is currently trine his sun so I get the feeling that he is somehow changing his status like you mentioned.

Bananas, you are a girl, yes? Could you please post your solar return overlayed onto natal chart. I would like to see because you said it had some similarities. Of course, if you don;t mind showing it to me! Also, you've already helped me a lot with your feedback to my question, thank you so much. If you don't want to look deeper into this or don;t find it interesting, it's ok if you don't reply. Really, no pressure, I will understand. Thanks again.

I've looked at the things you mentioned. Maybe I wouldn't if you didn't point out these things so thanks for the pointers! OK, so Sun in 7H doesn't scream divorce but conjunction to Uranus and that Dsc in Aries is major disruption in that chart sector affairs..I have Aries Dsc in my natal chart and I think that's not a good sign for Dsc..I mean Libra is THE sign (harmony, balance, understanding the other). Sun opposite Moon = 7H element opposite 10H ruler; Sun square Pluto = 7H element square 4H element; Moon square Pluto = 10H ruler square 4H element; Moon on Asc = 10H ruler on Asc. SO much focus on status change or troubles around those areas --- home, self, relationship, self in the public eye. Can't believe how much repetition there's here! Solar Dsc on natal Asc, solar Moon on natal Dsc, solar Pluto/IC in natal 10H,

I asked whether you're a woman or man because Moon conjunct Jupiter in female's solar return is probably very significant for child birth. I'm thinking maybe Sun is more important for a man (for birth of a child prediction) but really, I don;t know much about this.

OK, this is what's worrying. Neptune in 5H falls in natal 12H, solar Venus falls in natal 12H too AND solar 8H Mars is on natal 2H cusp..

P.S. you could really make a story from this solar return. It's so funny when you do these sort of things but then in reality nothing remotely similar happens Still, it's very interesting to dig!
