Regardless, I didn't spend a lot of time in 2012 with a lot of energy. In 2011, I decided I wanted to switch antidepressants. Zoloft wasn't doing enough for me anymore.

The proof that perhaps Zoloft wasn't enough could have been in how my mental functioning declined in November 2012, but of course, for years, no one believed me when I said my brain wasn't working the way it used to. My therapist at the time thought it was just the demands of adulthood changing how I was functioning. It was hard to put into words why I thought this when my cognitive functioning just seemed off.

I think 2012 was also when I started losing hope of ever recovering from depression. If I remember right, I applied for SSI that year due to my mom struggling to make ends meet that year and me wishing desperately to contribute financially.

Even after 2012, I didn't get back my ability to function until late August 2016 when my new medication kicked in.

Still, 2012 was definitely a significant year in that something happened to my brain then. I struggled to articulate it, but by the time I actually complained in 2016 to a psychiatrist, a medication had been developed that helps improve cognitive functioning. The only problem is it's expensive and hard to find insurance that will cover it so this upcoming year may repeat some of what happened in 2012.

In any case, after some Googling, it looks like the full moon for my birthday in 2012 was in Scorpio and it also qualified as a Supermoon. The Full Moon was tightly opposite my Taurus Sun that year. Other than that, Jupiter opposed my natal Pluto pretty tightly too.
