This topic includes asteroids but it is absolutely planet, house and sign related.
retrogrades if they apply to what I'm asking.

I'm a self described geek, I admit it. I study and document my asteroids, fixed stars and of course planets by chart format. Albeit I'm certain there are many more that are much more thorough than I.

I've read a varied of thoughts on what a retrograde can mean to a person. From karma, to internal feelings. Even other species. I'm not certain myself which philosophy on the matter to join.

I have however studied mine and 1/4th my wheel is backwards. Is this just me? (I was born backwards - err right side up afterall. )

I'm looking at other charts too but honestly it's time consuming to collect all this info (I haven't as much time lately) thought a good way to get answers is by asking you, Who better knows themselves and their charts than a student of the stars!?

For me everything is backwards in 8, 9, 10 and 11. These are my Leo/Virgo/Libra and Scorpio houses. I have to say that I feel the energies
within me of these celestial bodies. That would give merit to the internal theory on retros.

Please share any info you may have or reply with your retro criteria. I very much appreciate it.How do they effect you based upon the houses and signs?
Do you feel like a quarter of your clock isn't the same as the other portion? More intense or less in terms of those house matters?

(Not a thorough look but my husband's might be half retro)

I'm not sure if I'm giving the right answer to your question, but I have 3 retro planets (pluto, uranus, neptune), so does that make me 1/4 retro? lol

as for the signs, the energies I feel like I lack are virgo, libra, gemini and sagittarius

my chart is very scattered and I have something in each sign (including major asteroids)

pallas in virgo, ceres in libra, vesta in gemini, and vertex in sag

my empty houses are the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 8th

your husband has 6 retro bodies?!

Each planet from Mars through Pluto is retrograde a little more than 30% of the time, that being the part of the year that the sun is transiting towards, and then away from, the opposition to that planet. (The same would apply to asteroids.) I've seen statical studies showing that 2, and then 3 retrograde planets are the two most common natal charts. No retrogrades in the natal occured only about 1 time in 15, and more than 5 Rx planets in a natal chart is extremely rare.

After reading your reply, GB, I feel like an airhead but I do have a lot of Air in my natal. Lol -I do have almost every asteroid and Planet within my houses I mentioned, only exception of one asteroid in those houses, that were rx when I was born. My personal houses are all direct (1,2,3,4,5,6 even 7). Idk it just looked odd how uniform my rx bodies are.
