Inspired on @polkadotstars question.
I truly believe on moon/venus- signs and aspects- in men's chart for attraction but mars on our charts is another story- at least for me.Mars works for you girls???Do you feel attraction for men with your mars sign?

Its a mix for me between my mars, venus and moon and the houses their in. Like for example i have my mars in an air sign but it lies in an earth house and most of the guys i have been attracted to have been earth heavy. IP: Logged |

Ive mars in Leo, 9th(Trine Mercury, square Uranus, square sun/Chiron) I'm not attracted to Leo's proper (so far not many e.g.s of anyway) but I am attracted to Leo behaviour and energy. Gemini and Aqua too quite a bit and especially through Leo manner. And Aries a lot. So it fits and doesn't quite fit, perhaps because I've the square to sun, but I think it's true and just modified by aspect IP: Logged |

I have Mars and Venus in Gemini. I am attracted to Geminis, Leos usually. Gemini because they talk ( some of them) and Leos because their warm and sunny. ( Usually) IP: Logged |

50% for me.Attraction comes from my 7th house cusp.I like the sag energy and I like caring guys (mars in cancer) but not very much into the whole cancer traits.Seems suffocating to me. Anyway I think that maybe this could be something like...is what you ultimately need but not what you want...kind of thing. IP: Logged |

I personally believe (my knowledge may be too
inexperieced as of yet) depends on other facets as well, not necessarily just the Mars which my Mars ruler is Aries. I have dated other fire based Mars people. I am married to an Aries ruled Moon man tho.  his Mars is ruled by Virgo. This is my 9H (Virgo).IP: Logged |

Yes! I have mars in Virgo and I have always been attracted to brainy, highly intelligent men...I just love smart guys. I'm actually quiet impressed by degrees and that stuff lol. I don't care too much about looks, he's gotta be interesting. Mars also squares my Uranus so all my bfs have been quick, opinionated and intellectual. The guy I'm currently seeing and in love with has mercury in Virgo and his pr. Sun is currently in Virgo. My last guy who I was with several years has no Virgo planets but is a double Aquarius but he is an intellectual too, now works as an archaeologist.

I agree. I also have Venus conjunct Saturn and am attracted to older men. And Venus conjunct Jupiter, so a spiritual man as well  IP: Logged |

Mars in Gemini 9th--have dated mostly foreign men, men who travel a lot, or who were children of immigrants. But, Have no particular interest in men with Gemini placements. Gemini is intercepted though, so although it shapes my attraction to men, I don't need their "lessons" anymore. Many Gemini moons seem to be attracted to me cuz I guess I stir their emotions with my Mars, but Gemini moons drive me crazy with their seeming inability to feel safe with the decision to commit. Maybe it's just because men have a different emotional upbringing than women that might make a Gemini moon hard to deal with especially when it's lit up. Like, as a man they should feel in control emotionally but I can take that away with my manly Mars and make them feel too "womanly" based on their upbringing. (Thank G the world is changing.) I feel my mars when it comes to my type but i also think that Jupiter works in the same way as venus/moon in man's chart. So i look at mars, Jupiter and sun for myself. Then i look at what planets are making aspects to those planets to see if those planets energies are showing up. I also look at the houses my mars Jupiter and sun are placed to see if those energies are at play.
When i look at all the men i have been really attracted to my mars and Jupiter play a major part with aspects to those planets also working.
Mars in Taurus 7th house
Jupiter in Taurus 7th house

Ok I'll chime in and say although I like Cancer men (Mars in Cancer), I'm not really attracted to them. I am, however, attracted to Leo 5th house Fire types (Jupiter in Leo). Or Aries types (7th house).IP: Logged |

Nah, I'm not very attracted to Libra placements. I am attracted to men with qualities defined by Libra, though. I like charming men who are very refined and well-mannered but also know how to use their brain. Most men don't use their brains (no offense). I also like men who know how to dress.I've found myself attracted to Aries, however. I think that's mostly just because I am a Leo and my Mars is in the 5th house. My attraction to fire signs is strong. I like Sagittarius as well. Very adventurous. My boyfriend has Mars in Cancer in the first house. So kinda like Aries mars, hence, the attraction. His Gemini venus also tightly trine my Mars. It's in the 1st house, so he is a really good dresser. Many girls have checked him out in front of me just because they're so shocked a man could dress so nicely. He is a typical Leo man, lots of class and well-mannered.. until you **** him off. Mars connections are very important for me.
I've noticed a pattern of men who I truely adore always hit my natal Aries Mars on the IC.
My last relationship - his venus was conjunct my Mars and my new relationship - his Libra Mars is conjunct my MC and opposite my Aries Mars. I really think that Mars is underrated for attraction. IP: Logged |

Venus and Mars conjunct in Aries - it's funny, I always say I don't like Aries men. I find them too domineering. But I end up dating Aries moons and/or venuses anyways. I think my favorite sign is Scorpio though. I have a lot of Pluto in my chart, and my sun and moon are in my 8th house as well. So Plutonian energy just feels "right at home" to me. Like I just want to nestle down in it, like it's a big warm blanket on a cold day. Granted Scorpio is my 5th house as well. IP: Logged |

Every time I read interpretations for pisces mars in a woman's chart and the type of man she is attracted to, I take a step back and think. Conclusion: I have never been attracted to pisces, and some of the characteristics women with pisces mars are "attracted to".
I don't have a thing for the artist at heart, the struggling artist or poet, or the man with savior/messiah complex. However, a kind man is always welcome. My romantic interests have always been to capricorn, scorpio, aries traits.------------------
