Topic: What's with Leo men and the high fives?

Over the years, I have observed this trait amongst August Leo's in particular. I currently have two Leo's in my midsts and have noticed they give me these slow, super-soft high fives when in greeting or saying goodbye. I'm an Aquarius female who has had semi-flirtatious moments with these Leo's on the one hand and these high fives on the other (literally). What is the meaning behind this gesture, if any? Is this a quirk others have noticed? Can any Leo's or Leo-lovers weigh in?

Leos are warm and sunny when their not in their egos or pouting over something. It's possibly just a friendly gesture or a feeler to see how you respond to them because they do not like rejection. IP: Logged |

A soft high five is pointless and I'm a July Leo, if its not hard and full of enthusiasm, it sounds like a bad attempt for august Leo's to look cooler than they actually are. IP: Logged |

I am a male Leo. I would rather shake hands and look a person deeply in the eyes. Unless it is associated with something all of the sudden exciting and impromptu to share the enthusiasm by touching.IP: Logged |

Too funny!
As a Leo myself I used to do this with people all the time.
I knew a guy in my high school that was a triple Leo (ascendant, mercury, venus) and he was the absolute same, except he used to fist bump as well, but it was very slooow, as you described lol.Really don't know what to tell you other than the fact its usually just a friendly, encouraging gesture used to demonstrate our warmth. 😝 IP: Logged |

Lol, I have a Venus in Leo man who keeps doing this to me. I am a Venus in Taurus so in my mind touching or high fives are done as a way to touch or flirt...not be warm...I have to keep in mind he is friendly and it's not the way they operate (and not flirting with intent). He also has this strange quirk of showing off in front of me (at least I think). Like literally two days ago he was getting water in front of me (while I was on the phone) and he started to stretch and bend down in front of me (I'm not gonna lie it was hot...my Mars and Sun Conjuncts his Moon...I want him). I'm a Leo Mercury so he prob thinks I'm more friendly and warm than I actually am (Cap Moon), but I have a feeling just his Cancer Moon/Scorp Mer and Mars can pick up that I'm not actually outgoing despite being a 1st house Sun and Mars. But he's similar and less out there than he seems (Cancer Moon/Scorpio Mer & Mars). IP: Logged |

I had to think about this one...I think your right. The only difference is I'm male thought.
If Mr Leo and Mr Gemini (Me) are both the same age and we both have mutual respect for each other. We exchange props or high five out of mutual respect for each other. I was on my way to the lab once and this August born gave me the most unusually high five handshake, I took it as a complement thought like some cat with a unique greeting. quote:

Thanks for weighing in, everyone! I hadn't expected this topic to gain any traction, so color me surprised . It was a toss-up of whether the slow high fives were a friend-zoning or excuse-to-touch-you gesture. in zodiacal ages, certain behaviours may come up, unique to each one. same could go for leo. it's fixed, so it likes to make a "statue" that will last and represent the amazement of existence. a high five is a similar display of fireworks. IP: Logged |
