For instance, I am a Leo rising. Stereotypically, Leo risers are loud and bold with their style. They try new trends and wear them confidently. However, I think for me I'm a blend of my chart. The Leo rising is there in the fact that I love color. I wear a lot of different colors, when I go out I dress up and I love a bold look or bold lipstick, I'm conscious of my outfits and I don't mind loud colors for shoes.
However, I think my Pisces sun and moon shows in my style because my style is based on my mood. Some days I feel more soft and feminine, others bold, edgy, preppy, or even tomboy- which is where my Venus and mars in Aries comes to play. I don't wear a lot of jewelry, which may be an Aries thing?

My mom is a Virgo ascendant, and the colors black, gray, and white make up 99% of her closet. It doesn't get much more neutral than that. Her clothes also have to be comfortable. She would never wear anything if it wasn't comfortable first. She doesn't wear much makeup besides foundation and a quick swipe of mascara. She's afraid of loud colors and has told me many times before that we don't have the same sense of style. She also wears very simple jewelry, nothing bold or attention seeking.

Come to think of it Magenta feels like Venus in Leo in combo with Scorpio rising! It is my favorite color for a few years now but I loooove turquoise too:

It's funny because my mom is a Virgo Ascendant and she is exact opposite of what you've described. She is LOUD with her fashion choices - definitely not afraid of colour or bright, bold accessories. I would even call her a bit of a "fashionista" since she loves to dress well and always looks put together. She is complimented on her style all the time by women her age.

I thought perhaps her birth time might be wrong because she definitely doesn't strike me as a typical Virgo ASC. She does have SOME Virgo ASC traits I guess...she is a little shy upon first meeting someone new, but otherwise she can be the loudest person in the room. I considered she might be a Leo ASC instead taking all of this into consideration.

I think my packed 3H encourages me to blend in. This isn't the same as conforming as I'll still feel compelled to put my own individual touches to it to make it mine. When I was younger and socialized with many more types of people, I could be unrecognizable to people unless I dressed as they remembered, something that surprised me until I got used to it. To me, it was no different than people who dress for church, for the office, for school, or even for a Halloween party with costumes. But I suppose my Leo ASC puts a bit of effort into it to stand out with 5H adding personal touches so that while I dress to blend in, I also stand out.

I usually get things that are neat and well-fitted. Skinny dress pants, dark jeans, simple shirts and blouses. Other than that, I like natural materials. Linen, mulberry silk.. those sorts of stuff.

As for colours, I don't like wearing neutral tones like grey and black. The only reason why I have a few pairs of pants in those colours because they are readily available, cheap and appropriate for my work places. I prefer the very dark green, midnight blue, deep dark red... for pants and dresses and lighter or brighter colours for blouses. Cream, ivory are fine, they look "warm". Stark white is a no-no. Aqua blue though - oh yes I'm quite addicted to that colour.

Over the years, thanks to my friends and s.o, I now have a closet full of clothes of different styles (floral patterned, chiffon stuff is from the s.o lol he's a libra sun with a bunch of virgo, cap rising). I like them well enough.

I usually wear a lot of black, but red is my go-to when I want to add color. Hell, even my hair at the moment is dyed red, and not a natural shade either, but a bright, pinkish red color like a redder shade of Magenta. Red is the color for Aries! Aries are bold, dynamic, and vibrant, so it's no wonder red represents Aries. My favorite red shades overall would have to be Burgundy, Wine, and Crimson, but I also like other sort of warm colors like purples and reddish pinks like Magenta. I love red because it makes me look much more energized and powerful than I really am in contrast to my usual subdued and lethargic nature. However, my Ascendant might also have more of an influence because Mars is in my 1st house too, so my style is probably more apparent due to this placement as well. So yeah, no blues or cooler tones here for this water heavy chick.
