Hi everyone. The Solar Eclipse on August 21st 2017 is going to conjunct my Natal Sun. It's really tight. Only 24 minutes away from my Natal Sun. Any idea what this could mean? Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

Hello Truth, what house is your Sun in?When the Eclipse culminates it will trigger your N. Sun and that in turn will trigger all aspects the Sun makes in the natal.

TheTruthIsTheWay11, that's a pretty nice eclipse figure to have! Very energizing, of body, will, and ego.That eclipse is an energizing transit that can bring out your clarity of intentions, strength, sense of purpose and importance. Just be sure to not let it increase your self-importance to an unhealthy degree. Use the energy benevolently towards mutually beneficial outcomes. This will be enhanced by Uranus 28ARI35 also very closely trine Sun. So that allows for some growth and personal outreach that opens up new connections for several months after that point in time. With just a bit of diligence, you can gain positive attention to your ideas and work and anything that you feel is a vital extension of yourself. People will find you more interesting than usual. So take advantage of it! ... Again for mutual benefit. Meanwhile, build the intention and make the preparations towards taking advantage of that big window of opportunity. You won't be sorry.

2nd House in the Placidus System. 1st House using other systems. In the Placidus System, I have Leo ruling both houses (I'm heavy Leo, and heavy fire). My Sun doesn't aspect much (especially depending on the orb you use). It trines my Moon in the 10th, quincunxes my Neptune in the 6th, and squares my Pluto in the 5th. Thanks for the reply!

The solar eclipse will conjunct my n.sun too. It will also trigger the n.sun-opp-moon as well as n.sun sextile mars.tell me how it goesIP: Logged |

Everywhere I'm reading it's similar to the 1998 eclipse but Bernadette Brady ,author of the Eagle and the Lark ,states it's similar to 1999? anyone?IP: Logged |

My ex-colleague just had it a few months ago in February. She finally snapped and handed her resignation in. Today, it's the Aries New Moon and it was her last day at work. She's been quite in sync with the Solar and Lunar action, lately  IP: Logged |

Nice to hear that!!The solar eclipse on my Sun in February didn't bring anything obvious yet. But that was in the midst of other intense transits, which are finishing now. I've been building the foundation for changes for a long time. I hope for the visible results soon - the eclipse window is apparently 6 months. IP: Logged |

First of all, eclipses, whether solar or lunar, are wild cards. Therefore making firm precise predictions can be dicey. I would only say that in general:- Solar Eclipse conjunct natal Sun tend to be positive in terms of material rewards and making gains in the world, when they happen in the North Node. - WHen they happen in the South Node, the material rewards are not so much indicated, though spiritual growth can be achieved. North Node VS South Node eclipses: Modern astrologers speak of the south node as a point of loss, the Dragon's tail. As opposed to the North Node which is where we take in material rewards, the Dragon's mouth. IP: Logged |
