Topic: Scorpio and Aries Dsc - both ruled by Mars. Similar needs?

Do you see similarity between Scorpio Dsc and Aries Dsc? Aries Dsc - fights and quarrels, Scorpio - drama and intensity. Scorpio is ruled bu Mars/Pluto. If you have Scorpio Dsc, what do you consider to be your 7H ruler, Mars or Pluto? And if you look at both, which seems to be more prominent in your chart and describe your partner and 7H needs/bahaviour in relationships better?Also, how do you think would Scorpio Dsc like Aries Dsc person? Both Libra and Taurus are Venus ruled. Both are more amiable,pleasant and slow to anger or extremes of emotions-preferring to keep things on an even groundBecause both tend to project the more extreme nature of their emotions, its no suprise really that they can both attract more forcefull companions. Libras more open-ended nature may draw the forceful and assertive (Aries) nature of their companion to the surface. Taurus' relaxed,unhurried,thorough and self-assured approach attracts complexity, depth and attention seeking tendencies from their companion (Scorpio) Taurus however focuses on material security/physical stability. So the partnership will highlight issues of potential loss of that materialistic security,deaths sharing of resources/trust,power struggles and extraneous circumstances that may topple that stability/enhance personal power(Scorpio) The Libra hones in on the more inclusive/relations centred part of partnership. The needs of "we" and inclusivity are important. So the partnership will zone in on issues of overdependency, unreliability of associates, separation anxiety and associates making decisions unilaterally/bullying. These guys may attract someone who acts single though in a partnership(Aries) On the surface, both attract more forceful partners that seem more dramatic than they(Lib/Taurus) are. Hmmm...
I have Aries DC and have had several relationships without any fighting at all. One was a three year living together relationship with not one single argument. So I have trouble relating to that assessment of the Aries DC. IP: Logged |

Well. This will dependent on the interplay of planetary positions in their charts. But its not a one glove fits all sIts interesting to note however that Libra Asc with Aries planets (7th)will behave very "Libran". This is to counterbalance the strong Aries energy internally with the Libra Asc outlook. This person will have a lot of energy invested in relationships. But a Libra with Libran planets will behave very "Arian". The energy is self centred, self concerned and even self promoting(Libra is the 1st house) So even a Taurus Asc with planets in Scorpio(7th) is more relationship focused. Whilst if there are many planets in Sag(8th), the life is likely more tumultuous So the synastry between them comes into play 2nd house emphasis suggests stability
4th house emphasis suggests emotional connection
7th house emphasizes partnership
12th house emphasizes forgiveness but possible secrets too.
