I have Sun, Moon, Mercury sq Pluto and Mars, Asc parallel Pluto. Sometimes I wonder whether I am too smart for my own mental well-being or just downright paranoid :-/

Some people will pass my "radar" with flying colors but others will stick to me like glue. It can be anything that sets me off but some examples are:

Inconsistency in language or wording
Body language that doesn't match their words
Their eyes/facial expression don't match their words
White lies-yeah, those pesky little ******** many of us use on a daily basis...

Above will stand out like a polar bear in the Sahara and unfortunately there is NO hope for them after that, even if I were their last lifeline to help them on earth, should they have a problem.

The thing is though, that it's ALL intuition and when/if I question this intuition and engage my brain, things don't turn out that well.

I do understand that some people are inconsistent or they might have "ticks" or be "socially awkward".

What I'm wondering is if I should see past these feelings and perhaps give people more chances (because I am being paranoid) or listen to my belly??

It depends, smart on what?

I only use smart with mercurial people, Gemini/Virgo/Aquarius mercury.

Pluto I would say, paranoid squad.

Both, actually in my opinion.

I have Sun, Mercury (r), Venus, Jupiter (0 degrees), Pluto, DSC in Scorpio.

Sun/ mars (1 degree in Sagittarius) conjunct Pluto.

Sun, Mars, & Pluto all opposite my ASC.

But as I said, both.

Our intelligence causes overthinking.
The overthinking causes the paranoia.

Our intuition is usually dead on, but sometimes, or maybe a lot of the time, if the Plutonian type isn't evolved enough yet, we miss the mark.

There's always more going on under the surface than what meets the eye and water types know that. We sometimes just don't know exactly what.

It can be a dangerous game if our mind is skewed towards the negative to begin with. Factor in "what ifs" and overthinking and you have a disaster on your hands.

Not to mention if we start considering other factors aside from astrology like ANXIETY which causes someone to overreact and/ or overthink.

But you're not being paranoid. It's deeper than that.

I have found that I'm usually on mark but I have started, or often, to question that mark because there really can't be that many screwed up people in my daily life! Or?? Once I stop going with that flow of emotion and find excuses such as being paranoid or "nah, that person can't be a liar", my mind gets really messed up!!

I am a Water sun (Cancer) and even as a very (!) young child I was apt at reading people and situations but as I've gotten older, and met many people that have called me crazy/paranoid/anxious/whatever, I have stopped trusting myself because: why am I right and they are not?
