The Moon in Aquarius yearns for emotional freedom; no obligations to anyone, no ties that are emotionally confining and being allowed to come and go as desired.

North node in Cap yearns for status,emotional restraint/maturity and ability to provide/uplift the family. To become authoritative/important and excel in all responsibilities given to them.

These two contradict each other in that Aqua wants to be free from all that "duty" whilst Cap thrives in it. So the compromise is that of someone who "self governs".

That means the person takes full responsibility for themselves(Cap) but also answers to no one(Aqua)

With these both in the 2nd, it suggests that personal security rests in combining these energies.

Aqua and 2nd house us financial up/downs and erratic changes. And with the Moon also in 2nd, this is doubly emphasized.

Cap Nodal axis in the 2nd suggests slow/long accumulation of tangible success.Prudent/conservative decisions made in attending to financial affairs.

Many times with these up/downs in the 2nd house, the individual may perhaps have learned to save up or anticipate the worst outcome.

This could mean living on ones toes/on a tight budget or atleast not being able to relax when it comes to financial affairs.

If Saturn is in Libra/Cap or well aspected. This may help stabilize things in that area.

If Uranus is well aspected. One can make the most of unique opportunities to enhance their income etc.

Moon in 2nd desires for the situation to stabilize. But if harsh aspects from Uranus/Neptune/Pluto are present. It will not stabilize for long.
