Juno is said to rule over commitment/marriage.I consider its relevance only in examining the sign and its overall relation to the theme of relationships/ marriage in the chart concerned. Libra in the 1st is of itself a contradiction. Much like Sun in 7th, Saturn in 4th. Barring Mars/Pluto/Sun in 1st ,you don't go after what you want directly for fear that it may upset others. So you are prone to be a populist and live your wants vicariously through others. Juno in 1st has a Venus in 1st similar vein. It suggests that you are a desirable long-term mate. But is that what you want? If you don't know what you want, you may fall into marriage/committment because you think it's whats acceptable and expected. So a marriage proposal may flatter u enough to jump right in. Venus in 1st-esp in Libra/Leo, loves to be flattered by others. And can gravitate towards becoming a populist. Juno in 1st-esp Lib/Gemini, can be flattered by many suitors for marriage. But they need to be certain about how they feel about commitment 1st and not be whisked away by the idea that a drop dead gorgeous person wants to be with them and has declared their love for the Juno person publicly Or that the individual considers the Juno in 1st the proverbial knight/virtuous princess that they have been waiting for their whole life etc. Juno in Lib/Pisces in 1st can fall into that trap. And Juno in Virgo/Cap in 1st can do what is right by moral standards and societal expectations

Your natal description of Juno conjunct Asc reminds me of ruler of 7h in 7h - marriage for the sake of marriage. Not really me. Another description I found on the internet is that this conjunction makes a person look innocent like a child, some vulnerability and I feel that this could be true. People always want to make sure I'm ok. They for some reason take a look at my face and think I'm in distress or worried about something when I'm not so they want to look after me and make sure I'm ok it's strange really ..IP: Logged |

So Juno adds a babyface? I read that somewhere actually. But can't say its a fact for me as i also have Neptune/Sun conjunct, so people think me innocent. Its hard to differentiateI have Juno in Aries in 1st house opposite Mars/Pluto. I come across quite standoffish to others too. Even downright mysterious. I don't think i will marry but long-term commitment i will do as i think i might encounter issues-with Mars/Pluto involved in the mix and my Venus/Mars midpoint also there. My mom has Juno in Cap conjunct her Saturn-Venus conjunction in Cap and opposing her Mars. Mad respect for commitment but marital issues as Venus opposes Mars(and Juno is a part of that). My Dad has Juno in Libra. Serial philanderer. Venus(ruler of Juno) conjuncts Mercury,Pluto and Uranus in Leo and opposes Chiron in Aqua. MY Dad also has NN in Lib-though not in aspect to Juno in Libra. I think he has a different idea of "marriage"-since Uranus is part of his Leo stellium with Venus. What aspects does your Juno make?

Aries23Degrees,That's the only aspect it makes in my chart. I have Sun conjunct Neptune too! But maybe This aspects gives a youthful appearance. Juno conjunct Asc adds vulnerability hence the child look. So youthful appearance because of that childlike fragility. Maybe..I don't know for sure of course IP: Logged |
