For job/career you needs signs. Cancer MC can give a delayed career. 6H + 10H - career via employment, safe route. Just look up the signs to know what kind of work. Moon (10H ruler) in 6H Jupiter (10H element) trine Moon (10H ruler) Jupiter (9H significator) in 10H - career abroad Career is very possible for this person if they act decisively. Check 2H as well, 8H for business. Actually everything has to be checked I'm not good at job descriptions by signs. Maybe somebody else can help with this. IP: Logged |

thanks a lot CC!yeah cancer mc confuses me too, along with leo, aquarius, virgo, pisces and capricorn mc with their ac in libra and jupiter in the 10th I think they may be involved in some political positions, perhaps related to creating more peaceful environments? especially with moon (aries) in the 6th, they can be a very service-oriented person, dedicating themselves to causes sun is in the 8th, and pluto in the 2nd any ideas on this?

lol BL yes I remember your DOB and this person is born around your birth dateNN is conjunct the IC currently they do have a career (work in a botanical garden), which I think resonates a lot with their sun (taurus) and NN (capricorn), just wondering if they're doing the right job for them with that cancer MC conjunct mars IP: Logged |

Ooh! What's their b-day? Mine's this Saturday. That sounds like the perfect job for them, if they enjoy it. Mars rules their 2nd and 7th so maybe they will have a partner who joins them in this field and it will be their legacy. Mars conjunct the MC means they are a hard worker and can be very driven and ambitious. I would look at their relocated chart, too, since you say they live far from their home country.I myself would have liked to have an environmental/outdoorsy career but probably wouldn't have the stamina for it. So I'll pursue creativity, spirituality and the mysteries of the Universe Happy belated btw IP: Logged |

Hi BL!thanks a lot! happy birthday to you too! her bd is may 10th, wow that's a very accurate analysis! her husband has helped her get that job
I like her job too, being around flowers and plants all the time, but sadly I dislike day time and sunlight! how do I draw a relocated chart? and how different is that from a natal? IP: Logged |

Thank you! Oh ok, so maybe it's closer to yours, then. I'm at the very end of Taurus! Nice! I love it when astrology is literal like that. Oh wow, I wonder if something in your chart suggests a preference for the night? I just learned this recently. Relocated chart is one of the last options under -Other Charts-. You just need to select the reference place. It's the birth chart but changed to the new location! IP: Logged |

yes she (aries moon) is right after me (pisces moon) I have dark curtains all over the windows and I avoid going out during the day unless I have to...I only go out for 5 minutes at noon to get my vitamin D an exact opposition between my sun and pluto I think is why I can't stand sunlight, plus pluto in 4th, moon trine pluto and moon at the very end of the 8th house! an ex has a scorpio pluto in the 4th and he too does the same thing, covers his windows and never goes out during the day. he's a sag sun in 5th and a leo ac and you would expect someone outgoing but he wasn't at all! I call pluto in 4th the DJ aspect! people who love the night time, and underground dance clubs! I just learned how to make the relocation chart, it's fascinating! does it show the way people see you in that city/country you've moved into?

Oh wow! Hahaha. That is so opposite of me. Though I'm a night owl, during the day I love the Sun and need the blinds open all the time. Love being outdoors. And I used to work at a flower shop Ohh ok, with both your luminaries making aspects to Pluto, that makes sense! I think aspects/conjunctions to the relocated DC/7th house shows how people see you. For ex. Venus on the DC will indicate popularity there. I remember you posting on the AstroClick Travel thread. Once I mastered that I realized the relocation charts show exactly what is going on with those lines IP: Logged |

yes I find astro travel very interesting! like I mentioned in that thread, an ex of mine struggled with work even though he has a PhD! he moved all across the planet! the place he used to be he has no MC lines, totally opposite where he lives now. I am now looking at his relocated chart and he has jupiter conjunct AC! no wonder he is loving it there! I never remember him being so smiley all the time! (judging by the photos of him of course) IP: Logged |

That's great! Yeah apparently Jupiter or NN places are the best, for everyone (then you should consider your Sun and Moon sign rulers). So you must be pretty successful in your birthplace, as I remember you have Jupiter conj Asc natally! What MC lines does he have over there?

can you please clarify? for instance should I check venus lines for my sun and neptune lines for my moon? quote: Originally posted by Beautiful_Light: So you must be pretty successful in your birthplace
I may not be mad successful, but I'm grateful that I am exactly where I want to be. whatever job I have wanted, I have gotten. I'm happy where I am now, but wouldn't say no to a nice move either, because I love change! although I have worked in other MC places too, I have loved all the jobs. expect the city where there was a mercury/mc line right on top of it. I was so stressed there, I think it's because of my natal mercury/mars square the most peaceful and romantic place on earth to me is Jaipur, india, and Taj mahal with its mystical atmosphere at foggy mornings and its sophisticated persian architecture. and what do you know, it's the one place I have sun/mc right on it! I would love to live there for some time, perhaps pursue a perfume/architecture career (taurus sun in the 10th)! quote: Originally posted by Beautiful_Light: What MC lines does he have over there?
he has pluto conjunct the MC! natally he has an empty 10th with pluto conjunct the AC! astrology is so funny! it makes me think of the universe as a playground lol! IP: Logged |

dear BL, off topic, but I wonder what you think about thisI'm checking my astro travel for the whole world and there are 4 NN lines. AC/MC/IC/DC. which one do ya think is better to consider a relocation to? edit I think the best choice would be the IC if we're to make that place a home, what do you think? IP: Logged |

I went off of what someone said in that thread and found it to be true! Yeah this is just a theory but if you're a Taurus, you'd probably be happy in a Venus place. Interesting what you say about Mercury-MC. My Moon is ruled by Mercury so I find that some of my most fav places are along Mercury lines. Your Ascendant is ruled by Sun, so that could explain why you love India! I have my NN-MC running right through the country and would love to go there. I recently developed a love for Bollywood lolol my relocation chart for Mumbai shows Neptune, Uranus, NN and Part of Fortune on the MC! My Sun-MC line makes a Zenith in Hawaii, with Moon exactly on my Ascendant. Heck yes!! I've always wanted to go back/live in Hawaii. I'd say that counts as success! I do have some minor favorable lines where I live, but no strong Jupiter or Venus influence. Hence no success so far in career (but that could also be attributed to my natal SN and Chiron in the 10th! Sometimes I envy you strong 10th house people ). quote:

That's very interesting!! Cuz usually they say Pluto places are terrible but since he is Plutonic himself, maybe he just needed a switch to the MC! Totally! The world is our oyster, hahaha. IP: Logged |

Lol by now we have totally gone off the deep end anyway Hmm, I see. Yeah sometimes major aspects are missing, depending on where/when you were born. When comparing my travel chart with someone else's, I noticed they had some lines I didn't, and vice versa. You can also turn on "harmonious/disharmonious aspects" to see more lines. But take the square aspects with a grain of salt because it just means the planet/point is conjunct or near one of your other angles For travel, either one. Relocation, likely the IC will feel right. But you could just as well live in a place with any favorable influence. MC again is great for your career IP: Logged |

and would you consider mars/mc places favorable? another question, does the lines, mc and NN particularly, have to be "exactly" on one city? do you think lines around a city still show opportunities to live in that city?
sorry for so many questions! you're so wise IP: Logged |

If the description resonates with you, it could be. Mars IC/DC don't seem like the most pleasant places, but if your Moon or Sun is ruled by Mars, it might be alright. And no, they don't have to be exactly on the city. Nearby is ok. The major lines have a greater influence/distance than the minor ones.

I actually meant to ask if you think the places which show a Mars right on the MC are favorable for a job? actually neither of my sun, moon, ac or mc are ruled by mars. and the whole 30 degrees of aries are intercepted in my natal, but if I count mars as the ruler of scorpio, then it would be the IC ruler; would that work the same as if mars ruled moon? thanks again for all the help! Hmm...I'm not sure. Are you wanting to move to a place with Mars on MC? From the description it does seem favorable. If you have a Scorpio IC, Mars IC or Pluto IC places may work unusually well for you, just like the example with your Pluto AC friend.IP: Logged |

i wonder what it would be like there?!lots of conflicts at workplace (mars on mc)? I'm particularly interested in that city because it favorably holds my NN but will see, so far I've learned that where I am now looks like the most ideal place on earth for me IP: Logged |
