I get like that too. I always want to "win" my crush/ interest over and do all i can to chase them/ attract them to me etc. Moon/Mars square,Mercury/Mars square and Pluto in 7th.I think its the Venus in 3rd and Mars in 11th house mix.
The Mars in Gemini especially loves the beginning stages and often having an adrenaline rush to the pursuit at hand. Venus in 3rd could be more interested in the conversational element of the attraction and is turned on by talking about the expression of feelings. The Moon in 8th could make your emotions prone to up/down fluctuations. You could feel things on an instinctive level but can also be hesitant in publicising them. Does your Moon aspect Mars/Uranus/Pluto? These 3 latter mentioned tend to add a great deal of urgency to emotional expression when they touch the Moon. IP: Logged |

Your moon in 8th house.Scorpio or the 8th house people, always have the urge to chase people they like. No matter what they are doing, the push-pull, the hints, and the other games, the main purpose is the chase. They want to feel accepted, maybe it comes from some insecurity. Mars in Gemini (restless mars). The urge to chase people comes from, probably do you have high curiosity? This links to your moon in 8th house who wants to feel accepted from people you like, you want to know and you can not wait to know the answer. This makes you so eager to pursue. I have venus in 3rd house, nope, not gonna chase anyone, too many fish in the sea. Venus in 3rd house associated with siblings and what do you value most in a relationship. Bad communication frustrates me and will most likely fall for people who know how to engage in communication and talk smartly. I also have Mars square Venus exact, nope, this aspect only makes me having a volatile/high expectations but it's not enough to make me chase people. IP: Logged |

Well your venus and mars are both mercurial and mercury is a fast planet with a lot of activity and it can generate this restlessness and angst feeling which needs release. Venus is what we looooooove and it falling in the 3H you looooove to express yourself since venus rules dating too and love interests it makes sense you want to declare your love quicker than others especially when you consider that your venus has a double mercury dose bc is in virgo and it falls in the 3rd house. You then add that MARS the planet of action and impulsiveness is squaring exactly your venus and we have someone that probably talks too much when they like someone and has this strong desire and impulse (mars) to express their feelings to their love interest (venus in the 3H).On the other hand I have venus conjunct Mars by 1d and when I like someone I have to go for it, I hateeeee that feeling of not been able to go after what I want and act on my desire or impulse. Perhaps venus in hard aspect to mars is just enough to give you that risk taking trait and go getter trait. Like venus in hard aspect to mars would have a strong impulse to go after their love interest, flirt and let them know they are interested. IP: Logged |

That makes a lot of sense, I took a personality test and finally come up with estp but not totally sure on this as I have met a male estp and I can handle intensity more than he can. I looked to my natal chart to find where this would come from and the only thing I can understand is having venus and mars in gemini. Estp is known for thrill seeking and I have never seen myself that way although I do have guts to push threw things that most people can not but not without lack of common sense about things.
