What kind of placements/aspects would you expect to see there? Somehow I find myself working in this business now, but I would have never seen myself ending up here, just a few years ago... and now I feel like it's the only place for me to work, but I don't really enjoy it... my chart is mostly made up by virgo, capricorn, cancer and pisces IP: Logged |

Design on what?I think that venus in virgo and if it is in house x, can indicate much interest and ambition about the design or fashion, decorations, architect etc .. IP: Logged |

I would think such folks would have quintiles involving venus like venus quintile uranus. If you dont like this field then I am not sure your chart will show aspects that support this vocation for you though.. IP: Logged |

A lot of art-based aspects. Most people I know usually have a dominant pisces, sagittarius, scorpio, and aries within the chart (usually for the sun signs though). Not saying the other signs would go for this, but it seems to be a pattern. I also find if you have a prevalent neptune, uranus and venus in the chart, it could really help. Uranus calls for creativity and ideas. Neptune is great for storytelling (which would be great in animation). Venus makes it beautiful and alluring. Depending on what type of design you're talking about, I think it would be important to have these aspects. IP: Logged |

in my casearies mercury (square neptune, uranus, mars and the nodes) pisces moon, quintile uranus and neptune, trine mars and pluto, sqaure (yet in the same element as) venus taurus sun (trine uranus, neptune, the norht node, opposite pluto and sextile mars) taurus MC cancer venus (in the 11th) sextile MC, biquintile saturn and parallel uranus cancer mars (in the 12th) opposite neptune and uranus my job involves a lot of drawing, sketching as well as working with softwares (3ds max and autocad) every day I have nothing in virgo (except for pallas athena), but thankfully a packed 6th house
overall I'd say a lot of water, along with some cardinal, preferably aries or capricorn, to keep you motivated
also venus, neptune and uranus for creativity and artistic beauty a lot of artists (design, music, dance, all other arts) have venus/saturn aspects too..it may not be the most pleasant aspect to venus for personal relationships, but it helps discipline your artistic activities and excel them with time and you will pour all that love hunger dissatisfied with personal interaction into your art! I think midpoints would also say a lotI'm looking at picasso (perhaps the most influential artist known to us today) astrotheme chart, and there are a few interesting things besides his in-your-face packed 10th house! his moon in 5th conjunct the nn his sun and saturn on his venus/moon MPs, not exact both him and van gogh have vertex in the 5th (I think a lot of leo and cancer AC people have that) mars/neptune aspects also often call for making dreams manifest into reality, aka expressing yourself artistically IP: Logged |

I got a grand t-cross and loads of t-squares... but my strongest planets are moon, saturn, neptune and mercury... But would you say a 5th house scorpio venus could be into design/fashion? My 5th house it self is in Libra, so I actually got my 5th house ruler in the 5th house... And my MC is in Pisces, trine venus as well
