I read somewhere if the ruler of your 7th house is in your 4th house your marriage or partner may not approved by your parents is this usually the case? The ruler of my 7th house is Aquarius and Uranus is in my 4th house and on my 5th house cusps.

I've never heard that before but I can see it being true actually.

I hope others have more insight as I have this as well (empty 7th house - ruler and co-ruler both in my 4th).

It means you meet your marriage partner at home in the place you grew up. Your parents may even introduce you to him/her.

Hmm that's interesting. My husband has his 7th house ruler in the 4th but I don't think his family ever disapproved of me. I think in his case he wanted a partner who wanted to create a family as much as he does and who he could bring around his family. And also someone who made him feel emotionally secure.

But funny enough he actually did meet me through his family

The nature of the planet itself matters a lot.

The 7th house is partnerships,co-operation,pulling our end of the bargain and signing on the dotted line.

Uranus as ruler of 7th suggests that you tend to commit in strange and unusual ways i.e you like open-ended agreement. The type that can have you walk out whenever you want etc.

Uranus on the 4th suggests that at the core of u, u want to be free . You dont like restrictions of any kind. You want to live by your own terms etc.

Now the ruler of the 7th in 4th suggests you conduct matters of the 4th in the same way as the 7th. It feels safe for you to do so.

Your partners may be strongly Aquarian/Uranus influenced.

Your partners may feel more like friends.

Your partners may live independently from home or be distant from their relatives etc.

Hmm I have my ruler of the 7th in the 4th house also. Maybe it's because you have this Uranian energy involved? My 7th house is in Libra, and my Venus is in Cancer in the 4th. If anything, I would think my parents would approve of my SO.

It could just mean that you want someone/your partner will be someone with whom you can have a good domestic life or there will be an emphasis on the home in your partnership.

7HR aspects Mars may bring conflict.

7HR aspects Saturn may bring disapproval if Saturn standards aren't met.

I don't think Mars aspects my 7th house and Saturn isn't in my 7th house it's in my 4th.

I have my 7th house ruler( neptune) in my 3rd. I read that I desire a partner that is good with communication.

I have my Juno in Gemini as well so I think I desire someone with those types of traits or something.

In vedic astrology though, the ruler of my 7th house( jupiter) is in my 11th. I find this one more true to what I desire in someone. It says I meet my spouse at a social gathering and threw a friend. ( I met my ex husband that way)

Someone social, a networker of sorts, someone who knows how to blend in with my friends or makes themselves liked by my friends??? ( I watched a video on it)

Maybe 7th in the 4th is about Finding your spouse in your hometown or a visitor that comes to your house , something to do with home. I would think it also has something to do with your home and wanting a spouse that is about the home.

Firstly uranus is practically in your 5th and not the 4th

and secondly a mastered astrologer once told me that the whole "ruler of this house in that house" thing is based on vedic and doesn't apply much unless you're using both the traditional rulers and the sidreal system; I agree with him based on experience

Having Uranus in the 5th house isn't a good placement for romance.
