Step 2 is imagine being next to a dog. Does the dog understand it's beisde you? how do you teach the dog? you show it bone, you show it food, you show it walks, and grass. But how about higher things? When we meet an alien. Sure it'll show us planets, it'll tell us metaphysics, we can barely grasp that with our brains. But how about higher things?
