Topic: Are 4th house overlays equal to a Moon Aspect

I've been thinking about this and what it means. I wanted to know if a planet to your 4th is equal to a moon aspect. For instance let's say someone overlays your 4th with their Sun..,it would end up being similar or feel similar to a Sun-Moon Conjunction. This could be applied for any planet if they overlay the 4th. I know a person who has their Sun and Saturn Conjunction in my 4th...the funny thing is their Sun and Saturn is in Libra...I'm a Cancer Sun with Cap Moon in the 7th Trine Venus (our sun and moon are similar)...I just didn't know if any of this is why I feel so comfy and at home with this person. He feels like family to be honest. IP: Logged |

Good question. Instead of Moon connotations how about Cancer (traits) connotations?------------------

Yes. In this instance, a key factor would be that the 4th (water) is a Karmic house,
Contacts here could be connected to the past

How close is their Sun/Saturn to your IC?* I heard the IC is like the Moon point so if anyone's Sun, Moon or planets contact it, it feels like they are contacting your Moon. On top of that you have Capricorn Moon, so that would heighten the Sun-Moon connection. How close is your Moon to his Sun?[*This is another aspect I have with my crush...I think I should just call it a day, lol, too many synchronicities.....] IP: Logged |

Lol what is between you two aspect wise? His Sun, Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto are all in my 4th house. But only his Jupiter is Conjunct my IC by 3 Degrees (My IC is at 21 degrees Virgo...his Jupiter is at 24 degrees Virgo). The Sun/Saturn Conjunction isn't close to my IC at all as it's in Libra. We do have my Sun/Mars (maybe Asc) Conjunct his Moon as well. As far as my Cap Moon to his Sun/Saturn it isn't at an orb for a Square. His is in early Libra, while my Moon is in late Cap. Our Suns are exactly Square...the funny thing again is his Sun is in Libra Conjunct Saturn in Libra...my Cancer Sun is in the 1st house...Libra's opposite is the 1st house of Aries...and Cancer's opposite is Cap which is ruled by Saturn. Good question.My take is that your Moon in Cap feels safe with someone whom is restrained emotionally. Cap moon can be such a rock for so many others. That it is nice to just rest easy in the presence of someone whom they can trust for a change. The Sun-Saturn conjunction gives the impression of sturdiness and with it being in your 4th house, suggests that they may nurture your inner self and provide structure(Saturn) and warmth to it(Sun) I dont think many people would be comfortable with someones Saturn in their 4th. But for Cap Moon, it may be very familiar.

Great question... As a tangent, if IC can have a moon effect, can the MC have a sun effect? Or what energy would that carry? Saturn maybe?IP: Logged |

This is what I've been wondering too for example in synastry if your moon doesn't make an aspect to the other persons moon. Yet their moon falls in your 4th house. Would that be like having a moon/moon aspect? IP: Logged |
