5/10. Pluto in Sagittarius didn't kill me so it gets 2 points for that and 3 points to account for the warped view that depression has on your life experiences. It loses 5 points for the stuff I had to deal with before I even turned into a teenager.

In all seriousness, Pluto in Sagittarius was a dark period in my life. It went through my 1st house starting from a very young age. Before I was even 13, I dealt with issues related to power, control, sexual identity, and death. At 15, issues related to obsession became more dominate, but I continued to deal with the previous subjects.

My childhood was pretty dark. Granted, as I review things that happened to me when I was younger, most of it wasn't as bad as I thought it was at the time. Even with some of the darker themes, I've managed to recover from sexual trauma and a large portion of the issues from my past. Plus, my childhood wasn't entirely dark. There were good things about it too.

LMAO at the joke.
Yeah, Pluto in Sagittarius was a mixed blessing for me. I guess one way to put it is.....the first half was great, but I felt stuck. The second half was horrible and dark.

I hope things are better for you though!

Awesome. A coming of age time for me for sure.

Pluto in Cap has been bland in comparison. And Pluto in Scorpio didn't stand out much either

Pluto in Sag...wow!

I'm way too young to remember most of Pluto in Scorpio. I remember it feeling intense, because perhaps Pluto squared my Moon.

Horrible and great. I think it had an especially strong effect on me because of my Sag stellium: moon, Mars, Neptune, Uranus (sextile to my natal Pluto). It was most intense as Pluto was transiting my specific natal placements.

Perhaps worth stating that this was pretty much all of my teen years which tend to be intense and problematic, especially those in dysfunctional homes like mine.

I guess overall I am grateful for my experiences...but if a human being were to force me to undergo those trials to make me stronger, that person would die...in fact, I might save that person's life just so I could do the killing myself.

It was such a long transit, it probably included all of my high school, part of middle of school and undergrad school so is hard to say all that happened to me during that time is bc of the pluto transit in sag.

Pluto went into Scorpio when i was born. Much of it was my childhood from age 0-13 years.

Much of Pluto in Scorpio felt like a maze. The role i played within the family became cemented in that time. I was just a child with growing pains with nothing too traumatic occurring

The most painful thing about it was the search for identity. My father was terrible and i learned to fear/resent him in those years. It was only when Pluto went into Cap that I could truly let it all go.

It lasted from age 6 to age 20, for me.

This occurred first in my 3rd natal house, then the 4th.

Started by making a conjunction to my natal Neptune in first degree: spiritual growth and opening up of my world, fell in love BIG and was disappointed, so the spiritual growth helped mitigate that.

Increasingly difficult as it went on because of the aspects opposite natal Mars, then quincunx natal Sun then Saturn, then square Asc & conjunct IC. Very difficult time.

But by the time it hit 21° and squaring my natal Pluto 25 Virgo, I was in a period of rejuvenation and healing.

In the last degree of Sagittarius, solidified plans to come 2200 miles to Oregon, which happened after Pluto was in Capricorn.

Most of our experience will be based on what aspects were made and where in our natal charts it was happening. I experienced the lowest and highest points of my life, but I certainly wouldn't attribute it to Pluto in Sag, which is generational. Plus, I'm far from done.

I wish my Pluto in Sag time was awesome as yours! But it was definitely the coming of age time also for me. A lot of major changes happened (immigrating to a new country and learning a whole new language, going through high school and universities, learning to be in a relationship, etc).

Then Pluto in Capricorn really pushed me to grow up I think. I know I have matured quite a bit especially in the last 6 years or so and I felt the growth too. I have become self-reliant, self-sufficient, and financially responsible. My professional life has established strongly and I'm looking forward to improve it in the coming years.

My next big adulthood lesson would be parenting! Pluto is approaching my 2nd house cusp so I'm nervous about what this transit will bring to my life!

I would have loved to live through the 1980's!

It's the opposite for me... Pluto in Scorpio was pretty much my entire childhood before school (first day I was in a classroom was 1st grade... indigo child), most of 1st grade (Pluto was in Sag for a few months past Christmas break until the last couple months), and part of 2nd grade, while Pluto in Capricorn is my young adulthood and how I got into astrology. Pluto in Sagittarius was part of 1st grade, the vast majority of 2nd grade, all of 3rd grade through high school, and most of college (which basically means that I was in school throughout that era), and the Neptune in Capricorn part of that was the best, as the rest of it was struggling through adolescence and not knowing why I was so different than everyone else, which changed during the Neptune in Pisces transit going on now (better than the Neptune in Aquarius portion of Pluto in Capricorn, which was the Great Recession and the end of college). Maybe it's because I actually have Pluto in Scorpio and Neptune in Capricorn that I remember those days so fondly compared to Pluto in Sagittarius.

'95-'08?

Hmm..moved to the States '97....and stayed until '13.
During those years it was PARTY TIME! Think I did everything imaginable :-/
Pluto in Cap has been a bunch of bull-crap of self-discovery (at least while conjunct my Moon-separating now) which I haven't enjoyed at all! He'll be opposite my Sun in about a degree. And then Venus. And then Saturn. Then I'm F-ing FREE!! And old.

@kewf1988

I think it maybe because I have Uranus,South Node,Jupiter,Neptune and Sun in Sag. In that order.

When it ended off with my Sun @29 Degrees, the old had to go and the new was founded.

Pluto in Cap is sweeping through my natal T-square of Mercury,Moon,Mars(in that order). And so its effects can only be judged post all that.

Well it was there starting in January 1995 to April 1995 and then went back into Scorpio until November 1995. In November 1995 when I was 3 Pluto in Sag (my 6th house) made me have acute ITP which is a blood disorder that manifest suddenly mostly in kids but goes away with treatment and usually doesn't return; however, if not checked and you happen to hit yourself (as most toddlers do since they're clumsy as sh*t) you can die from internal bleeding, which almosy happened to me. So basically when Pluto first popped into my 6th house in Sag I nearly died lol.

When it left Sag in 2008 I was 16 and really overweight (6th house stuff again). As soon as it left in November 2008 I began losing weight and was healthy by the beginning of senior year in fall 2009 when Pluto was well into Capricorn.

As for Pluto in Scorpio, I was born with it, but I can tell you that during that time Pluto in Scorpio (her 5th house) allowed her to meet my dad, get married and get pregnant and have me. Sounds like some 5th house shenanigans to me. I was actually born with Pluto in the 5th in Scorpio lol.

To me, the most interesting generation is Pluto in Cancer. My great grandma is 99 and will be 100 in December and her daughter (my grandma) just turned 80 last October, so they're both part of the Pluto in Cancer generation. My mom and I are both Cancer risings and we have always said that my grandma (her mom) and my great grandma (her grandma) are incredibly stubborn and traditional with their home values. My mom is a Pluto in Leo person, so she butt heads as a teen with her mom since she was a typical 70's teen wanting to do drugs and what not and my grandma and grandpa were Pluto in Cancer traditionals who wouldn't stand for it lol.

My parents are both Pluto in Leo gens, so these baby boomers were more lenient and more loving. They encouraged me to pursue my hobbies as a kid. Hell, my dad even smokes medical marijuana which is something I could see Pluto in Leo doing since it's "fun"

Yes, Cancers are usually more traditional, and Leos tend to be more creative and light-hearted!

Pluto in Scorpio: I was born with this placement. Pluto in Scorpio lasted until around 1995 (first 10 years of my life). My life during this time was 90% hellish. My entire life fell apart and I had to learn to fend for myself. I learned at a young age that I was on my own and that you can only count on yourself (parents are very much capable of betrayal and don't necessarily love you).

Pluto in Sagittarius (1995-2008): It was definitely better than Pluto in Scorpio, but it still sucked. I was in constant survival mode and was working on rebuilding my life after it got destroyed during the pluto in Scorpio period. It entailed a lot of hard work and felt more like a Saturn Return. I achieved a lot and earned a full ride scholarship to a highly ranked university. I felt like I was in limbo during my late teens/early 20s and struggled to find my purpose in life. Luckily I figured things out by 23. I also struggled with the suicide of many dear friends and classmates, which brought the concept of mortality to the forefront of my mind.

Pluto in Capricorn (2008+): It's better than Pluto in Scorpio and Sagittarius. Life is still painful, but it's getting easier with age. I finally have a steady and fulfilling career, my own house, and retirement savings. The only thing I'm missing is someone to share it all with.
