My sag sister is a 12th house sun.
I'd say she has both sag and pisces traits. She's very much a free spirit, has a strong spiritual side (not religious though) and intensely believes in the Laws of the Universe and how everything is connected.
She is an empath. From what she's told me - and I believe her - she can see a person's aura. She has often seen departed people and much scarier things.
Even though she has issues with self-image (the ego is somewhat foggy in the 12th), it's something she works on everyday, being a sag. Having venus and mars in the 1st definitely her in that regard.

Ruler of 12th house(Neptune/Jupiter) conjunct Sun I guess is not that hectic as compared to actually having Sun in 12th?

An ex had his Sun(Taurus) in 12th. He was tired a lot and slept most of the day. Loved the night life and had a distant relationship with his Dad.

I don't know if he saw ghosts though but he was very sensitive to others, loved dogs and mixed with pretty questionable company (in my view). His Merc in the 11th opposed Pluto in 5th.

My youngest and my boyfriend both have sun in the 12th. I would say that this makes them both a bit shy and definitely not a fan of being in the spotlight. They are both very quiet until they get to know people.

Any planet in the 12th will increase psychic awareness and empathic traits.

Sometimes I have seen Sun in 12th house of people who have had absent fathers, whether that be physically, emotionally etc.
