But, I'm leaning towards an Earth Sign such as Taurus, Virgo or a Fixed Sign for the tenacity and dealing with rejection.

Probability a Fixed sign.

Cardinal signs it could either be an insult to there ego or a boost to there ego to keep at it.

Mutable signs. More unpredictable.
So therefore I say a fixed sign.

That leaves Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. But Virgo and Taurus aren't to bad either.

Leo - for the care and attention
Sagittarius - for the joylessness
Pluto and Saturn - for the endurance and persistence

Because when Aquarius commit to you, they are very focused on you. Since they can detach easily, when they decide they are in love with you, it's only you, they detach themselves from others (no emotions involved) and only keep the attachment with you. Aquarius rarely easily let go a relationship where they decide to commit, this is why sometimes they get stuck in a toxic relationship until they decide to let go. But their attachment doesn't feel overwhelming or all over your place, so it's not easy to see this traits until they commit to you.

They can surprisingly hilarious too after they let you in to their small boundaries.

I started to think sexually about girls ``later`` in my life, maybe this is more normal in germany, but not in Brazil where I was raised.
One girl came new in class and she started to like me, so I ``started`` to like her, but nothing happens, it was the time where we kids where comunicating trough little notes passed in the classroom,(by the way very nice to remember this, in the sms era.)
