I read somewhere that people with this aspect cannot sustain feelings for long. Is it true? Who has or know someone with a Moon Neptune square or opposition in their natal? IP: Logged |

oh yeeess...you do love for what it seems like forever! Which is great. But I do recall your aspect is somewhat wider, like 7 degree? did your ex trigger your natal T square of Sun - Moon - Neptune?

Yes and his AC opposes exact my moon so my moon is right on his DC... I do have a 6d square between my moon and neptune, maybe is good is wide but still in orb.. Orbs used for natal charts Conjunction: 10.8 Opposition: 10.0 Trine: 8.3 Square: 7.5 Sextile: 5.7 Quincunx: 2.2 Semi-sextile: 1.5 Semi-square: 2.5 Sesqui-square: 2.5 Quintile: 1.0 Bi-quintile: 1.0 IP: Logged |

I guess this aspect is related to have a great expectations in love life and hard desilutions; that's why you canīt love someone in a long time. I got opposition: Nep on my Asc (house 12th) and Moon in 7th house cusp. I had huge dissapoinments in love and just one long term relationship; my partner has his juno, karma and ceres on my Asc, his venus lossely conjuncts too; so I guess this can be a key to still be in love with him after 21 years, even we have some disagreements like other couples.

I have moon opposite neptune. I can love forever. ( I have venus square pluto as well so this maybe modifying it ) My never ending on off affair, he has moon square neptune and it seems to be his feelings don't go away that easily. but he is venus, mars, sun scorpio so there is modification.. One thing I noticed I always fall for neptunian types. Pisces, sun - neptune or moon - neptune guys... IP: Logged |

oh thats interestingNeptune is very romantic, so I wonder if the Neptune aspect only holds endurance when the romance is unattainable, but proly evaporates once the relationship is established...but the again, Pisces Tigress is married for a long time, so maybe not....

I'd sooner expect it from hard Moon-Uranus.Anyway, I know someone with this square (and it's the only Moon-planet aspect) and he doesn't strike me that way.

No. The principles of Moon interacting with Neptune in square aspect are that they are both water/feeling elements. Neptune's action upon Moon is that of rendering the inner feeling life and needs more a fantasy than reality world, which means there is greater potential for self-delusion if the person does not remain acutely aware of their needs. Feelings are tinged and shaded with greater coloration and interpretation. But this can also point to a talent, an innate ability for feeling one's way through shades of meaning and nuance, which is a high creative talent so long as one can remain grounded and have proper discernment between one's real needs and what one imagines would be the sensational or romanticized option. For some the sensitivity is so high that past experiences leave them awash in co-dependent dynamics to find approval rather than becoming truly aware of their own needs and developing healthy boundaries. This can be really important if there has been a parent that second guessed them, inserted doubt, or neglected them from an early age. When two planets of a similarly emotive element (water) get into square aspect (depending on how tight it is) there is a tendency for too much emotion or for some things to become emotionally colored that need not be. But this is only one chart aspect. It need not imply that a person is not capable of committing to something or someone.

interesting, I always wanted to know how an undiluted Moon feels ( only one aspect to a planet) what can you tell me about this person in relations to their only lunar aspect? How was their relationship with their mother? Ho about their love relationships, what kind of personality are they attracted to? what sign is the moon in? And what is their Venus? IP: Logged |

Thanks, Kannonthe Moon is in Virgo, in exact square to Neptune. No other lunar aspects. the person often says that they don't feel very emotional. I have noticed they can soak in other people's attitude very quickly and start mimicking other people even without them realizing it IP: Logged |

So his moon is double earth since is in virgo falling in the 2H...He must be very grounded which is why he is not very emotional but also very idealistic when it comes to relationships.... Well it explains why he soaks up other's emotions and is easy to mimic others, is easy to blend in with his environment.. Other people make him lose that grounded nature that comes so easily to him but his inner emotional state is naturally grounded... I guess the way he will be able to feel stronger emotions is dating someone more intense. IP: Logged |
