I've had Saturn transiting my 12H in 2015/2016 and my Solar Return chart has many planets in the 12H. Even though Saturn is transiting my 1H this year, I still heavily feel the effects of the 12H.

I feel extremely lonely and reclusive, even when I socialize. When I'm around people, I just hide my sadness. I spend most of my time at home and when I do, it feels like I'm in a jail cell.

I get that 12H is about isolation and endings, but what is the real benefit of it? How does it exactly help you? I feel like I'm going insane. Has anybody else had similar experiences?

I understand you and support you.

I really hate this transits but they must happen, cannot fight against that.

Im in that process of living the Progressed New Moon Cycle which has happened in my natal Capricorn 12th house and last three years have been positive for many things, such as being graduated from college, but the main energy has been living like isolated from people.

Last year, in July, Pluto entered my 12th house and I lost the most part of my friends and have been all the year almost alone, being isolated at home.

Pluto is good to get rid off things, people or situations which are not recommendable at all, and I appreciate that, but so tired of this.

I was still living my first Scorpio Saturn return when this Progressed NM Cycle started in house 12th and then Pluto in that house again. Too much isolation and being like in a cage. To fight against this, I tend to do short trips with my car to liberate and free myself for this jailed condition.

I'm super strong mentally (Scorpio Moon), I know not everybody cannot stand with this; people can become crazy if they'd spend so much time as I do.

Natally I have Aquarius Mars in 12th house conjunct AC and more last house energy, so I am a lonely heart essentially who is used to live with this. I spend a lot of time alone.

It's just exhausting. So tired of 12th house. At least, in this last 3 years, I learned to meditate which has been really positive to me. Spirituality wise, a very good period for me.

I can FEEL both of your words while reading this.
*Venus/Saturn in natal 12th = pretty sad "love" life, put it mildly.
Went through one 12th house SR a few years ago, I am facing a 12th house stellium (!!) next year. planning to relocate if that helps, I will try anything!
Posted about that here, some people have good experiences with 12th house! others agree it is <HEAVY>

The one ^good^ 12th house SR Uranus/Venus in 12th: secret love affair lasted a few months, but it did not end well!

To say the 12th house is about 'isolation' is to misread it. This is what some persons may do in the pursuit of the nebulous matters related to the 12th, but isolation is not its purpose.

One facet of meaning of the 12th house is cleanup, tying up loose ends. This is difficult to do when there are lots of relationships that seem to be frayed, without purpose, disappointing. The answer may often be in allowing a spiritually guided intuitive process towards renewed ideals for living. For some, this may bring ideals into focus for the first time. This is facet of the 12th house's endings.

Personal ideals for living (even just one ideal) are our way of guiding our lives and are very much part of the 12th house subconscious space in which we related our often confusing experience of contact with the objective world to our ideal response to it. This is a facet of the 12th house's Neptune principle.

It is an opportunity to find yourself intuitively amid the objective factors of your life. (Objective because the 12th house deals in what is above the horizon in the sunrise position of light shed upon the outer world.)

The 12th house deals with our relation to Spirit through feeling responses to all that is, through our mental clarity in that, those inner quiet realizations. Some may need to isolate or separate to calm the reactive sensitivities for this clarity to come. What is important is the ends -- the end result, not how you get there.

At some point, the confident, proactive person experiences the 12th as the house of ultimate service. That is part of why it is associated with those in public service, medical service, etc. It does not mix well with egoistic self-promotion, which invites lessons in humility.

When we move straight to the lessons in humility against the backdrop of all-that-is, we keep it in a more spiritual context where no "Look what I did ..." ego comes into play. We're making things right and in balance with the Soul/Higher Self that is not concerned with transient human recognition.

@Mariamne Mara
I relate to your experiences 100%. I love nature and hike a lot so I'll go hike alone or to the beach alone, but being a Moon in Gemini I end up being alone with my thoughts which can be even worse! At times, I feel like there's no real remedy for it, you just sort of have to force yourself to deal with it. Do you think it's helped develop your personality at all?

@Kannon McAfee
What do you mean by "ideals for living"?

Personal spiritual values for living as described in the Edgar Cayce readings, etc. An ideal is something that can be made practical like "patience", which you can hold yourself to. It may be chosen based on what you know is your strength (like patience), but which in asserting it more facilitates growth in other areas (like compassion, peace).

I see what you are saying. It's just difficult to really even pinpoint what is going on with yourself during these 12H transits so I find it hard to even make sense of your post, not that your post is erroneous. I just wish for more clearness with these 12H energies. Maybe I'm too logical with my Gemini Moon. I do know for certain that all of this is significant in some way, but it's troublesome when you don't understand what it is.

The 12th house helps us by urging us to clear the deck of unresolved issues to help start a new phase of development indicated by the 1st house. Ongoing confusion even once Saturn has entered the 1st is more indicative of a longer-term Neptune transit. So I don't think that talk about the 12th house will clear anything up for you.

For example, Neptune at 14 Pisces is sextile your natal Mercury & Uranus now. The sextile is not normally considered a transit of enough tension or force to indicate confusion, isolation, or withdrawal, so we look elsewhere. If your Asc figure is accurate as depicted in the chart found here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum34/HTML/000928.html
[http://i46.tinypic.com/v2ra1f.png]

... then Neptune is now square your Asc. That is one of the transits most indicative of what you are describing. This can bring a person to question who/what they are in relation to others, to feel more highly sensitive and withdraw in order to reorient themselves in response to changing perceptions of the world. This is especially true since Pluto has been in transit parallel your natal Neptune (transformation of worldview and beliefs).

Also Pluto is conjunct your natal Mercury, indicating a time of transformation of your thinking and perception. This can also be a period of withdrawal, at least in the initial phases, because it can require mental space to make that transformation. It can be a transit like Saturn to Mercury transits in which one says goodbye to certain communicative/mental connections, which can be someone who has been a mentally disruptive or negative influence, or just someone/something who/that is not relevant to your life for now.

With all those transits indicating a transformation of perception and thinking, it is okay to be feeling the way you are right now. It is a natural part of the process. Give yourself some time to feel out what is most important for you to know. It is more an intuitive spiritual growth process, not one in which we consciously pick what question(s) we want answered and start digging for the answers.

12th House Transits have a major risk of inciting suicidal thoughts.
You must keep communicating, preferably in real than virtual social settings.
Do not be afraid to express your true feelings, you have to end the Isolation, and one of the best ways is to share information with like minded people.
Another step is to take a Psychological Step into your 1st House. Focus on your core likes and unhesitatingly treat yourself well.

Ya I think I just need to sort things out b/c I'm not understanding what's going on with these transits right now - maybe it's best to lay off astrology for awhile thank you for your input
