I have an Aquarius ascendant, and apparently have a knack for attracting people with Uranus rising.

I've noticed that, more than any other types that I've noticed, they can look completely different from one day to the next.

My ex has Scorpio rising and Uranus on his ascendant. His eyes would change colour, from very dark brown to almost orangey - a bit like in the Twilight films! He tans exceptionally easily, so can change sun colour very rapidly; and there's a list of celebrity doppelgangers that reflect the way his face looks different so frequently.

He also likes to actively change his face, so will play with beards, stubble, or being clean shaven; and will wear glasses or contact lenses whichever suits him.

One of my team members at work has Uranus and Neptune conjunct her ascendant. Her face looks different from real life to pictures, and she loves to experiment with wild hair colours, frequently changing them.

And then there's my good friend. He has Uranus exactly on his ascendant (Sagittarius), and jupiter 4 degrees into the first house. He was where I first clocked this chameleon nature.

He looks completely different day to day. Like my ex, he tans easily, and goes from clean shaven to lots of stubble very quickly. But even when consistently clean shaven, he can look like James Franco one day and Barry Pepper the next - and with a dozen variations in between.

It's extraordinary!

As an aqua rising, I have very noticeable hair (vivid colour or badger-like grey!), and my eyes change colour from very deep blue to almost hazel on any given day.

But I don't think I'm as wildly quirky as the Uranus rising guys 😁

So for the Asc in Aquarius, it could be that they play the role of the quirky avant garde/weirdo or science geek/freak etc.

It's never on purpose though(not like the Sun).It could be that their tastes instinctively gravitate to the eclectic or those things that can't be easily boxed/labeled.

I know a Moon-Uranus opp person for instance who likes eating at random places and doesn't do proper grocery shopping.

Its not like he is trying to be different, it just doesn't occur to him to bother with making a list of things he needs and cooking each month.

He says his tastes and preferences change daily and so he would think it a waste to buy things in bulk-only not to be consuming them later(which makes sense I guess). But it's an expensive lifestyle he lives.

Another has Venus-Uranus in Scorpio conjunct and wants to wear dresses.

He says that it has little to do with sexuality expression but more in keeping in doing away with restrictive dress codes imposed on individuals by society as a whole.

I have Asc opp Mars but I tend to stay with the same/safe look/beard style. I care about how I am perceived and so I don't change my appearance too much. I am "safe".

It could be because my Asc/Moon square that I anticipate disapproving reactions from others.

I'm also Scorpio rising with Uranus on my asc (Uranus opposes my Moon, squares my Venus, etc.) What you wrote here applies very much to me too, i tan easily and my eyes change color (from dark brown to olive green according to my mood obviously ). And I also look different in pictures, actually in every picture I look differently

I've Celtic freckled skin so I wouldn't say I tan rapidly. However, I've Spanish ancestry so despite being Celtic I do tan and can look very different.

But my Uranus rising doesn't show that much in my appearance (no green hair, for example ), but in my behaviour, my opinions and my absolute demand for personal freedom/space. No compromising there at all. But I can adapt fairly easily to circumstances and people and/or blend in. For a while and to a certain extent. When it comes to people especially, I'm kind of a chameleon

Yes, I think so. Uranus conjuncts my asc from the 12th as well, but it is really close to the asc/first house cusp.
uranus in the 12th conjuncting asc is more subtile, it affects persons internal processes, like you mentioned, making him or her a non-conformist, more independent in his or hers thought process, free from traditional/religious values and belief systems. A person can see clearly through restraints and flaws or irrationality of aforementioned values and doesn't see him or herself neither bound to it personally nor obliged to follow any of it. On a contrary, a person which such a conjunction from the 12th house is almost rigid in aversion to any kinds of such restraints. And sometimes even militant if own freedom of thought is threatened.
The 12th house Uranus asc conjunction is not so obvious like the first house one, but it does still make a person erratic and restless, only in their thought process.

Oh, and yes, I'm very much (small) accident prone and clumsy

I think that's a really good point - all the examples I mentioned are quirky as well. They are all into things like The Walking Dead and the grislier TV series', for example.

My eyes are green with yellow/gray hues in them. If I'm mad or angry or fuming, it's deep, dark dark green. When I'm happy, it's pale green, almost amberish in a way.

I love to change my hair. Ether color or length. When it grows all nice and long, I'm ready to chop it all off!

My personal style is erratic. From leather skirts and pants to floral prints to oversized flannel shirts to lace to hippy chic, I have everything. Seriously, it's a mess.
