So I was briefly dating a guy this year whose chart has progressed about 31 days forward to Aug 5th, 1987. We ended things a few months ago and the next guy I began talking to oddly enough was born August 5th, 1987. Astrology is uncanny!

Yes!!

Look for similarities between the two. I suspect the new guy is here to answer unanswered questions, and fulfill unfulfilled desires. This will match the energy you've put out.

Had an interesting experience over the summer.

Met an Aquarius on the last day of May. He was initially very attracted, but I didn't see any astrology indicators in the charts.

Well, seven years ago I was dealing an another Aquarius whose chart had progressed to Summer Aqua's birthday. That ended and we went our separate ways.

Curiously, the Aqua from seven years ago only came into town in May & November. Last time I saw him was in November of 2011.

Interesting how I met Summer Aquarius in May 2018.

There is a second unrelated bit.

In the mix was a person born seven days before me. This means his current progressed positions are where mine were seven years ago...when I was dealing with May/November Aquarius.

So it could be said, over the summer I was dealing with an old me (pMoon in Aquarius phase) as well as an old romantic interest.

I definitely do think converse progressions are interesting though. Perhaps they are just another of the many ways to predict something. I think converse progressions are a technique that's a little too much of a pain to use since most programs don't have this function and you have to check an ephemeris and do some simple kindergarten subtraction math yourself. Definitely not hard but definitely an inconvenience as opposed to using progressions and transits which are typical techniques that all astrological sites and programs use. I think my short study of converse progressions was fine but I definitely agree with you that it can be quite confusing and a huge inconvenience.

Yes converse progressions are super interesting! I think though that since most astrology programs and websites don't have a converse progressed calc it can be kind of an inconvenience since you have to check an ephemeris and do some subtraction yourself the old school way lol.

True a bit inconvinent to calculate, but think of the insight it provides.

By looking into your past you can get a better understanding of current events in your life.

They're something that never happens in nature.

How about Precession of the Equinoxes?

Astrologers deciding to superimpose upon nature an artificial course for the planets, lending more confusion to astrological learning and discussion.
Nature has backward (apparent) motion. It is called Retrograde motion -- when it happens from geocentric perspective.

Abortion issue aside, you were alive during that period of time.

One motion is counting the first three months after birth, the other is counting the last three months during gestation.

I know this is an old thread, but I've just recently been looking into converse progressions, through reading "predicting events with astrology by Celeste teal".

This recent Solar eclipse we've had has caused me to break up with someone I've been seeing for nearly a year and a half now. Things have not been right for a few months now, I wasn't happy with how things were going, but I suddenly got the urge to end it a few days ago, which I finally did after a new year txt.

Looking at my chart/s as to how this eclipse had triggered this to happen, the eclipse happened in my 1st house, but at 4 degrees Capricorn all this did was trine my SR venus in Virgo, which also trined Uranus. As to which I was expecting something good, which wasn't really the case.

Now pulling up my converse chart and comparing it to my progressed chart for this date, I can now see the cause clearer. My converse Saturn is @28 Leo which squares my 28 degrees Scorpio progressed moon, and the moon rules my natal 7th house. My converse moon is@ 11'46 Scorpio conjunct converse Uranus @12'20 Scorpio which conjuncts my 11 degrees progressed Mars. Converse venus is also conjunct my natal Saturn.

So from this for me, it proves that converse charts do have a say in things too.

If anyone wants to see the charts, then you will need to explain to me how to attach them, as I've tried before but I can't seem to be able to do it.
