I already thought about this  .
Katherine: Sun in Gemini. Ascendant in Leo. Neptune in 1rst house. Maybe Sun-Venus conjunct Mars in 1rst house as well.
Neptune in 1rst house: she is like a mermaid;she can lie, she make men fall in love with her with lies, beauty, enchantments(?). Men idealized her.
She is smart and not emotional, like Gemini.
She loves attention and is almost impossible to ignore her.
Sun conjunct Mars maybe because she is assertive, violent, selfish. Elena Gilbert: she is a Cancer; maternal. Sun conjunct Venus because she wants peace and everyone loves her so much. She can be hypocrite.

Wow Elena`s chart really fits her well. I can totally see the water influence in her. And yes, it fits Katherine so well having Gem with Leo influence and as a marsian, very good analysis you have there 👍🏾 But don`t you think it`s something plutonian about her too though, maybe some 8th house influence or a Venus/pluto aspect? I can see her as a Venus Plutonian, esp the square. Her relationships and love was painful and toxic and she could be so intense, fixed and controlling in this area of her life. Very seductive too.
