I am resuming where I left off in my Ode to the Queen of (insert zodiac sign) Shade series. The last time I wrote a blog post for this series was for the departed Gemini singer Prince (for blog post click here). This was back in June, now it's September and clearly it is not Cancer Season. Even so, better late than never .

Just as it was no brainer for Aries (Mariah Carey) and Gemini (Prince); my choice was as clear as day. The infamous, the diva, and evergreen shady, Mrs. Wendy Williams. Cancers are not really known for shade, but shade doesn't discriminate. We see this in the form of Wendy Williams.

Let's get into her astrology. Before I begin I must mention that astrotheme doesn't have Wendy Williams rising sign. This means I won't be able to tell you her house placements or specific aspects. Her astrotheme profile is linked here

Scorpio Moon

I partially chose Wendy Williams because she has Scorpio moon. Scorpio moon isn't shady per se, but she is part of an important U.S. Media trend that has been going on for at least 10 years. This trend is the rise in celebrity gossip. Celebrity gossip has always been popular but with the rise of TMZ, Mediatakeout, Worldstarhiphop, and Social Media, celebrity gossip has taken on a new form. A new form that attracts the themes of the up & coming Pluto in Scorpio generation. The fascination with uncovering secrets and skeletons in closets, shared resources and the need for power (among other things).

Even before she had a tv show, Wendy Williams was an infamous radio DJ & personality; known for her blunt, cut-throat, oftentimes mean, and SHADY radio interviews. This placements is where we see her excellent communication abilities and the gift of shade. Venus conjunct Mars in Gemini is someone who likes to talk, socialize, and learn. These placements lightens up and disarms Wendy Williams from her otherwise emotional & intense astrological make up; her Sun in Cancer trine Moon in Scorpio.

Venus conjunct Mars in Gemini are energetic, fun loving people person whose is always up for a good time. This placement makes Wendy Williams seem a bit more like a chatty Cathy than a mean girl. How you doing?

This regal placement ties everything I said up until this point into a nice neat bow. Her Mercury in Leo is sextiled (in a good relationship) with Venus and Mars. SHADE IS HER MIDDLE NAME.

I see the Moon in Scorpio coming out a lot in her willingness to go to places that others will not.

There is something that reminds me of Rupaul about her. Oh yes, they both have Moon in Scorpio.

Rupaul has Sun,Moon,Mercury and Venus in Scorpio. Don't f*** with her. But that Gemini Asc external persona and caring Mars in Cancer,it's not all war and tension.

So i think i saw similarities in approaches when i see that Sun in Cancer ,Moon in Scorpio and Venus/Mars in Gemini is Wendy's placements

Mostly because he's part/pioneer of the phrase/meaning SHADE which is apart of the, gay/black/Hispanic drag NYC culture. But also cuss he's fierce.

Yeah well too bad we don't know her rising sign, because I just found out there's an asteroid called KELVIN (her husband) and the rumors are saying he's cheating on her but she insists that everything is fine... would be interesting to check how Kelvin is placed in her Solar..

I've never seen her, but before I looked up her chart I first read this thread then google image'd her. My guess was Sag. What do people familiar with her think?
