Hey guys! I'm so confused by this placement. As a Scorpio Venus, Aries Venus in particular confuses me. Is it like... Aries Venus falls in love super fast, super easily? And wants what it wants RIGHT NOW? :P That's my understanding. But then to have it modified being in the 2nd house -- everything I've read says Venus in the 2nd needs time to allow feelings to grow (like a Taurean Venus). This slooooow, security-based approach seems the opposite of Aries Venus. Can you guys help me understand this one? Does anyone here have this placement, and what does it feel like, and what do you like / romantically need?

Venus in 2nd house (love style):Tangible expressions of love and affection are important to you. Your tastes are usually “simply extravagant”, well-defined, strong, and something you are proud of. Some might feel you have a talent for finding items of value and good taste. You are attracted to items of quality. You may use generosity for your own benefit–in other words, you might give gifts with expectation of reward. Some of you might be hedonistic and overly attached to winning admiration from a partner, at the expense of discovering true love. He likes the quality of Aries in a woman. IP: Logged |

Aries on the 2nd house cusp suggests making a living or sustaining yourself through your own efforts. One who puts themselves "out there" when it comes to making a living. One who makes a living through competition.Venus in Aries suggests one who may be attracted/married to people who are "self-made",attracted to entrepreneur, ambitious "one man"army people or those whom are are all about being true to themselves. When Venus is in Aries in the 2nd house, ones self-esteem is attached to their ability to self sustain. Their worth/value depends on how able they are to "make it " in life. These people may value winning/ being individual above all else. They create a living through their own initiative and value authenticity/being yourself even when others disagree. IP: Logged |

Aries that is so true to me. I have Venus and Mars in Aries in the 2nd house. When it comes to love, I have had a lot of trouble with guys. They tend to pick on me, and act funny. I tend to have alot of betrayal and heartache, especially when I fall in love or really like a guy.IP: Logged |

Aries23, that is a great description!!! Wow. Great job! The guy I'm dating is a hyper perfectionist, and our relationship is SO great, but I can tell he's waiting to fall in love like a blind infatuation or thunderbolt type of feeling. I was wondering if that was an Aries Venus thing? He also said that he is extremely competitive and views everything in his life as a game to win. So business and work is a game for him to optimize to win. And I guess with relationships, he thinks this, too. Do any of you Aries Venus people feel this way - or do any of you have Aries Venus in 2nd and feel this way? It doesn't seem to bring a lot of happiness or contentment, but it helps me to understand that Aries competitive spirit. What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

I have Sco venus and I had a long term crush for an Aries venus (married) guy. We shared the love for adventure and sports... he was fun to be around and he liked to be the soul of the party (more group interaction than one to one). He liked to tease me endlessly and flirt, but never took concrete action. Very passive and evasive. Also had an abrasive and cruel side, his attention span was quite narrow. Egoistic and in the end I think he cared only about his children. No more Aries venus for me.IP: Logged |
