I will start with some of the characters who I can “read” best, give my opinion on their supposed placements and hopefully try to defend my position.

Ned Stark

Pisces Mars

Honorable Eddard Stark. Always dedicated to doing the right thing. A man who does not willingly seek out power or leadership positions. A shy boy in his youth and a reserved solemn lord as a man. I stick to the Virgo Sun/Capricorn Moon combo for him. He is avoidant of playing the game and sticks to his principles which leads me to believe he would fit a Virgo Sun. Capricorn Moon for his discipline and his aloofness which in the books is described as “people thought he had cold water in his veins instead of blood”. I chose Scorpio Venus because of his willingness to keep secrets for his loved ones and his loyalty to them. Pisces Mars for his idealistic nature and kindness to his enemies that ultimately led to his demise.

Catelyn Stark
Cancer Sun
Aries Moon
Gemini Mercury
Cancer Venus
Capricorn Mars

“Family. Duty. Honor.” – the words of Catelyn’s House which she embodies. A fiercely protective mother and supporting wife but also a woman led by her heart who can make rash decisions.

Arya Stark
Aries Sun
Cancer Moon
Aries Mercury
Aries Venus
Scorpio Mars

Wild Arya. An Aries tomboy with a sensitive family attached Cancer Moon. We haven’t seen enough of her Venus but I could see her having a Sun/Venus conjunction because they compare her to her aunt Lyanna who was known to be beautiful. Scorpio Mars because of all the tragedies that have befallen her and her desire for revenge.

Sansa Stark
Libra Sun
Pisces Moon
Libra Mercury
Libra Venus
Scorpio Mars

All she ever wanted was to be a graceful lady and she had a lot of delusions about the world. I like the idea of her and Arya having opposite Suns because of their rivalry. She has been mostly passive in the game so we can’t see her Mars very well but she is a resilient survivor so I chose Scorpio Mars. And lately there is a darkness to her…

Robert Baratheon
Sagittarius Sun
Leo Moon
Scorpio Mercury
Scorpio Venus
Aries Mars

The drunken hedonistic king who was once a great warrior. Robert screams Sagittarius to me. Aries Mars for his virility and a Scorpio Venus for his inability to let go of Lyanna Stark plus his lustful nature. Scorpio Mercury for keeping a grudge against the Targaryens. Leo Moon because of book quote that stood out to me – that he surrounded himself with laughs and attention and avoided negativity (something like that from Cersei’s POV)

Stannis Baratheon
Capricorn Sun
Capricorn Moon
Sagittarius Mercury
Aquarius Venus
Virgo Mars

Stannis is so Capricorn he should change his stag sigil with a sea goat. Too many Cap placements would make one too self-serving so I threw in a Virgo Mars for his obsession with duty. Sagittarius Mercury for becoming swayed by Milesandre’s religion. And Aquarius Venus because it’s colder than Capricorn Venus.

Tywin Lannister
Capricorn Sun
Leo Moon
Capricorn Mercury
Scorpio Venus
Leo Mars

Tywin, another Capricorn – the Lannister patriarch obsessed with legacy and respect. Tywin was traumatized by the ridicule his weak-willed father endured and that made him ruthless and ambitious. He was loyal to his wife until her death and afterwards never married though it is implied he frequented prostitutes in secret. He ruled his House and children with an iron fist.

Cersei & Jamie Lannister
Leo Sun
Scorpio Moon
Cancer Mercury
Leo Venus
Aries Mars

This is my favorite one to analyze because being twins, Jaime and Cersei would have the same placements despite their different personalities. I will insist on these placements more than the ones I gave the other characters. Leo Sun because in their core they desire admiration and this becomes very clear especially if you read their chapters – Jaime wants to be an honorable knight and Cersei wants to be a powerful Queen. Scorpio Moon because they both harbor deep feelings with Cersei embodying the more darker side of the Scorpio Moon – the paranoia and obsession with power. Cancer Mercury because they’re both not very smart (forgive me), Cersei thinks with her feelings and ego while Jaime isn’t a mastermind either. Leo Venus is obvious. Aries Mars for Jaime’s prowess in battle and Cersei’s aggression.

I’m leaving the best for you – Jon, Daenerys and Tyrion! As well as all the other characters you can think of.

Agreed on Arya! She is a firey Aries girl (as is Maisie Williams) with a family loyal heart, not sure that means Cancer moon, though. A Cancer moon would direct their life according to family values. That is decidedly not, what she did. She always had a mind on her own. I will never forget her scene with Ned on the steps in King's Landing, when she calmly and bravely stated: no (she will not marry some knight and have his children). I think she might have an Aries moon, maybe not an Aries sun. She always feels for the underdog and defends innocence. She has a passionate sense of justice, which is a fire trait, that can be put into action by a Scorpio Mars, for sure.

Perfect description of Cercei and Jamie. Spot on!

Totally different take on Ned. As an unpopular opinion, I see Ned as a capricorn, who speaks of family, but lives a selfish life ultimately. His empty code of honour led him away from his family, prevented him from saving his two little girls, when he was in jail and caused their demise. He valued his sense of honour more than his actual family. I love the actor and his family scenes were so lovely and warm, but his actions overall speak a different language.

Jon is the leader, who doesn't want to be a leader, but who wants to be the leader, because Kit Harington played him and he was so bad at it, that you see more his own ambitions and feelings of grandeur than who the character is actually coming from.
