Being fake is deceiving others, lying to them or constantly pretending which sucks. Being adaptable is not bad, it shows you are an easygoing person, adapting to every possible scenario of life, and I find it wonderful, making someones life easy to go on.IP: Logged |

Adaptable also means hiding certain parts of you in certain environments to not make yourself a target, adapting after all is a big part of surviving... IP: Logged |

Planets falling in mutable signs, soft aspects to Neptune.I guess what you're talking about is two sides of the same coin when it comes to how you respond to dealing with people and situations. There's the light side which is changing your behavior to positively match the situation or person you're talking to by bringing out aspects of yourself that fit more accordingly with what's at hand. And then there's the dark side which is where you behave untrue to yourself or start to play roles in order to reap the benefits of a situation or a relationship with another person.

Fake:  A mutable person wouldn't care, and might even be intrigued to try something vintage herself. Fake people can also be in the habit of making false promises and the like. This differs from the mutable who is simply a lot more flexible...though they can expect others to be flexible as well. I also like this warning:

Fake is someone who changes their core value to suit the situation and to gain favourable opinion of others. This is a sign of someone with emotional immaturity. Adaptable is being open minded to other's opinions and views, while being true to your own values and world view. This is a sign of someone wise. I don't know if natal chart would show this, but I'm guessing something to do with Jupiter. IP: Logged |
