Saturn relates more to discipline more than any other factor. Saturn is strong aspect to Sun/Moon. I have that in my chart and I'm more disciplined than the average American anyway.

And yes, hard transits of Saturn/Pluto/n.Mars can be periods of stress in which one is left feeling in far less control of one's life situation, circumstances, even feelings. This can affect one's daily routines and discipline I went through this 2001-2. Look at it as a chance to start over with what discipline means to you with what you've learned after such transformative influences.

Misbehaving in taking good care of yourself can relate to using what you put in your body as a way of comforting stressed emotions and unmet needs. Moon, Venus, Jupiter relate to indulgences of food and beverage, but even rather saturnine persons will eventually succumb to some comforts or indulgences because too much saturn/suppression can leave a person feeling ungratified. Easiest gratification for 90% of us is food/beverage.

They are 8 & 9 orbs.

Those are way too wide, not active transits (either too soon or over). Transits are active within a maximum of 4-5° from exact for major aspects in longitude. Cut the orb down a bit from what we use for natal aspects.

Orbs are very wide.

I immediately thought of the 6th house and perhaps an interaction between Asc ruler and the 6th.

Sun/Moon or Asc ruler in 6th.
Ruler of the 6th aspect Asc/Asc ruler.

Saturn in 6th- Diet plan or possible vegetarian switch.
Pluto in 6th-Complete overhaul of health/fitness outlook
Mars in 6th- Exercise or energy to work out. Regular activity daily.

But i think it all starts with the Sun/Moon. Either Sun/Moon progressing to Virgo/Sco/Cap. Or aspects from Saturn on Moon/Sun. As you need a self-denying approach.

I got very serious about gym when Venus was inconjunct my Progressed Asc. Progressed Asc ruler Venus was conjunct natal Jupiter and Pluto natal was in progressed 6th.

Maybe the initial intention was vanity. But i remember wanting to be big and concerned about how i look.

My approach now is not as fanatical. Progressed Asc ruler is conjunct Sun/Neptune. Pluto natal is now in tbe 5th..next obsession:babies

I would say Saturn trines and sextiles, my Friend. I love Saturn trine the Moon, which I have very wide and Saturn trine Mars, which I have close, but I am very disciplined and consider this a blessing,

I think saturn/ASC, strong 2H, venus/saturn, saturn as a chart ruler, saturn being one of the dominant planets...etc.

I have most of what's mentioned above, and I'm vegan, never eat junk, lift weights 5 days a week, plan my own meals, worry about my hair, skin, nails, and overall health.

My sleeping system is kind of messed up though, but that's out of my control and I blame it on the uranus-ian theme in my chart.

Actually, now that I re-read this, Moon Mystic, it could be a potential Uranus transit. It has been in the last few degrees of Aries and around 10° North declination. Is Uranus anywhere close to your 6th house?

Saturn [21S58] and Pluto [21S39] transits in declination could also be in effect in your chart. Look to see if you have any natal planets in those areas.

I would not expect a Saturn transit to your Asc by itself to create such disruptions, but in concert with other more challenging ones, maybe.

Hello, maybe I can help.

Saturn is my chart ruler in 1st house.

Saturn trines Moon/Venus/Jupiter and also Mars. So it creates water grand trine. Well, at least with Moon and Jupiter.

I don't see myself as disciplined that much but when working on something serious or important to me, I give my all. If I don't care, I won't even try.

I don't like sweet foods that much to be honest with you and the only time I indulge in eating chocolate or chips or other unhealthy foods is when that time of the month comes.

What aspect does Saturn make to your Sun and Moon? What signs are they in? I have Mercury Trine Saturn, would have positively impact my self-discipline skills?

Sun conjunct Saturn in Taurus, both trine Moon in Capricorn.

My chart

Yes, Mercury-Saturn aspects can help the mental aspect of discipline in the way of planning, proper focus, accepting the less desirable efforts we need to make.

MoonMystic, Saturn and Pluto in transit to natal Mercury that way is pressure on the mental outlook to change, and it often comes first with pessimism, which of course can negatively affect health. The key is in finding the way in which your mentality needs to change, tighten focus. What problems are asking for your conscious attention to be addressed, solved by attention and correction?

Not pleasant, and may leave you feeling overwhelmed (but maybe not knowing why at first). Generally, with Saturn involved the problems are framed up pretty well in terms of work/family 'responsibility' matters. That may be how it is framed up externally, but it is up to you how you change your mentality and what beliefs or what is failing you about your internal 'operating system'.

I have a YOD with my venus sextile mars, inconjunct Saturn.

My discipline sucks. I have the worst kind of discipline. I tell myself to wake up at a certain time and I always wake up only to shut my alarm off and going back to sleep.

I have too much Jupiter in my chart. Jupiter is the arch nemesis of Saturn IMO.
