Neptune is still technically on the cusp of my 9th house right now but it is in tight conjunction with my midheaven. I have been feeling more lost and confused about my career direction (I already have Pisces MC). I have had over 6 jobs in the past year, dropped out of university, and still unsure if the program I will be taking soon is something I would enjoy.

This is a very bad time for me as I have strong Virgo placements natally. It's currently opposing my Mercury and Venus. I feel tied to my job and my finances. The more hours I work, the more money I get. But if I even call in sick once, I miss out on a considerable amount of income.

I'm not sure if there's people out there feeling the same way or have had this transit. It's just pretty frustrating because I'm only 20 and I cannot afford to ruin my future just because of this.

Yuuup, just had this transit along with 6th/7th house tSaturn squares and a 4th house tJupiter opposition. My last solar return chart featured a beautiful grand cross (yippee!) with my solar return sun conjunct Venus in Gemini. The eclipses were also on the Pisces/Virgo axis.

It's been the kind of energetic tension that displaces complacency, yet you don't feel like you're getting anywhere. It's frustrating because there is a disparity between what I want and actually enjoy, and what I "think" I need to be happy. Somehow, they just don't align and the dissatisfaction is too powerful to ignore making it impossible to commit to a single direction.

Last year, I witnessed my brother prepare to send his daughter (she's a Pisces) off to college. With every good intention in the world, he and his wife pushed different career paths on my niece, at points, bringing her to tears. One night, I sat by on a dinner table with her and her mom and listened as my sister-in-law told her what she needed to become professionally in order to earn what she needed to be happy in life. It reminded me of when I was your/her age.

There are so many influences and false beliefs that have no purpose in our lives. My best advice for Neptune on the MC is to minimize these influences. This is so much harder than it seems because decisions like the ones you face are consequential. Knowing which influences to trust is difficult. There are all these practicalities (like making enough money to live) and the necessity to tend to your everyday needs effectively, but a burning desire to have those needs met by doing something you enjoy. (I think this is a problem we need to address as a collective.) There is something about the pursuit of happiness that just seems so difficult, isn't there?!

We're dealing with Neptune here, so delusions and illusions... Sometimes, I wonder if the pursuit of a financially lucrative career was me deluding myself the whole time, yet this wasn't the path I questioned most. I think you should ask yourself if this is the case with you as well. Question reality as you've known it. Illusions and delusion are hard to spot or they wouldn't be very effective illusions and delusions. The decision that doesn't make logical sense (Gemini AC) but resonates with your spirit and soul may be the clue to how you're deluding yourself. This newfound philosophy (Saturn in sag) on life may not be that easy to accept or make a reality.

Where's your Natal Neptune and Jupiter? And what aspects Transit Neptune make with other planets?

@ReachingForTheStars

Your niece's situation is a lot like my situation. Since I was younger, I was told to do this and that by my mother because apparently it would be "better" for me. On the day of my birthday, she told me she was mad because I'm "ruining my life" all because I decided to go to beauty school instead of university. I haven't spoken to her since (hence my SR moon in Scorpio this year). I think you make a very good point with the questions I have to ask myself. It's very hard when we're constantly being told that there's no other way to live life than have a successful career and have a lot of money.

@MahaKali

My natal Neptune is in the 8th and Jupiter in the 9th. Currently, Neptune trines my natal Moon, opposes my Mercury and Venus, and square my natal Pluto. It has been a very hard transit, to say the least.
