That is too wide for a conjunction between those two in synastry, but check to see if their positions are within parallel (orb about 1°).------------------

Yes. So you see those are closely parallel, which is the active aspect there, not the conjunction.It's a great example of how most astrologers mis-judge orbs, thus active aspects. In synastry we have to tighten the orbs a bit, so the active aspect here is definitely the parallel between Venus and the other person's North (true) Node. ------------------
