Depends on how close the eclipse is to your ASC. If it's less than 5 degrees, it will change who you are as a person.

But in what way exactly? I was told that it would bring about a new me. How long will the affects last? Is this something that would be permanent?

It's right on my progressed AC

the lunar eclipse was also in my 1st

I got a style makeover a few days ago right before the lunar eclipse

it was actually an expected one and the person who did it came out of nowhere and did it for free, but it turned out pretty well and I'm very happy with the results, so have decided to stick with them for a while

as for deeper, inner desires, I am finding myself longing for a big move almost half across the planet

my Aqua sun and AC friend just told me she's moving to the us and the eclipse is in her 7th, she does have an ex over there

the lunar eclipse was also in her 7th conjunct her jupiter, opposite her sun

Wow that's interesting! I guess it depends on the house placements. I have no idea how this really affects my chart. I know the AC is our appearance which hasn't changed.

The last time I had an eclipse on my ASC I ended up pregnant. Physical changes as well as complete identity change. ASC=ME=MOTHER

Child of Venus, the lunar eclipse that happened on the 7th of August was at 15 degrees Aquarius which is in your 6th house and conjunct your moon by a couple of degrees.

Changes related to your emotions (moon) around work/service/health (6th House) are what is leading you to the changes relating to your AC/Self/1stHouse triggered by the solar eclipse at 29 Leo on the 21st of August.

Thanks! this makes sense because lately I've been really thinking about becoming a nursing assistant. Is it best to wait awhile and see if this passes? Or should I just go for it?

The eclipses always happen at the moon's nodes but they mix it up with solar on the North Node and lunar on the South Node for one pair of eclipses but another time the lunar will be on the North Node and the solar on the South Node. This particular pair of eclipses has the upcoming Solar on the North Node. The nodes are often referred to as "fate" nodes with the North Node being the direction you are meant to grow towards in this life and the South Node being where you've come from or where you've already been... perhaps in a past life.
I'm certainly an amateur when it comes to predictive astrology, but I would say this moment of fate is absolutely giving you a green light.

On a non-astrology related note (though the nodes of fate do work in mysterious ways)... as someone who recently spent 3 years working in the Activity Department of a nursing home (and working closely with C.N.A.s and nursing staff) I would caution you to be fully realistic about the challenges of your chosen field. I saw many C.N.A.s who did not fully face the extent of elderly people with dementia and other mental issues who they would be working intimately with every day, doing heavy lifting and dirty diaper duties with little to no appreciation. It is a WORTHY pursuit. Just do not romanticize it and then resent your choice. It is a challenge. Go in with eyes open and a plan to further your education so that you are not still doing the heavy lifting when you yourself feel too old and tired to continue. Also be aware of the exposure to different sickness and infections, such as MRSA. This is a very real problem and lack of staffing causes many corners to be cut (regardless of what they say to incoming employees or residents and families), putting you at serious risk.

If you have the ability to take more than just your certificate and get a full degree in nursing before you even begin working, I would HIGHLY recommend that path. If you must get started working immediately due to financial need, be aware you may be too drained to also pursue your education and you will have to really dig deep to fully honor your path. I wish you strength and wisdom in your heroic journey!!

Thanks for your reply yes I am worried about all of the dirty work which is why I am also considering Massage Therapy. I've been talking to people who actually work as CNA's and a lot of people say it's hard work. But that you get use to it and that it's really not that bad. I do like to help the elderly but I really don't know how I will feel about all the sicknesses and dirty work. I was told that it also depends on where you work. That working at a hospital is better than working in a nursing home and that it's rough working with the patients with dementia and mental issues. If I decide to be a CNA I would of course continue on to nursing school. But with Massage Therapy I could become a Physical Therapist Assistant. I do like Massage Therapy I figure it's a lot faster to get certified as CNA and start working.

Fast isn't always best. I thought about massage therapy in my twenties. I looked into it and I was just devastated that I could not get the financial assistance to follow that path. It turns out it was another one of the times in life when The Universe answered "No" and it was beneficial to me. I didn't even like to give my fair share of massage to my boyfriends at the time, let alone a LIFETIME of massaging every work day for 8 hours.

You'll figure out what is best for you. It sounds like you are getting information from people with experience and going in with your eyes open. You could always volunteer for a time if you have the blessing of being able to do work without pay for a time. I know we made it pretty "fun" for the volunteers but at least you could see a little bit of how things worked. I don't even know why I am typing all of this to you. Consider it a Message from The Source. xo (hugs and kisses from God/Goddess) lol

There are schools that offer financial aid for Massage Therapy. I wonder why you weren't able to get assistance. Maybe back then it didn't exist though.

I have a Leo AC and the Full Moon was on my DC by 1 degree applying and I am also moving, only across the country though. I do feel different because I'm deciding to focus intensely on the things I love.. 'getting serious' about making a life out of them and changing my body too (tired of being physically skinny and weak lol).
The upcoming eclipse is applying conjunct my Mars in the 1st in 0 Virgo, square my Pluto in 28 Sco and BML in 27 Taurus. Oh and trine my Moon in 26 Aries.
