It is best to have no expectations, but the unexpected. Don't expect Uranus to deliver 'the one.' That's not really its purpose. Its purpose is to get us out of our ruts and to open up, relate more freely, to change our tastes a bit, and relate to those who may be different from us in obvious ways, but whom we might have otherwise overlooked. That can be just as important in friends as in lovers, because friends often open the doors for us to find the lover.

Really, this is a values-shifter, and a chance at a new start in your relational life. The transit (including the parallel) will likely last 2 years.

These transits are not necessarily beneficial as 'rebound' opportunities in which one has been experiencing stressful, dysfunctional, or otherwise unfulfilling personal relationships, but is eagerly searching for someone new to act as salve for the wound.

Most importantly, both sky gods Uranus and Jupiter act as broadeners to open up our values and affections so that more can be let in. That is not necessarily compatible with an intense focus on a single all-important personal romance.

Same holds true for such strong Uranus (or Jupiter) transits to Asc.

Both planets relate to widening and opening up values and relationships with others, Uranus to detachment (which can mean less personal) and Jupiter to freedom. Uranus can help us learn to stop using others to meet personal needs we can meet ourselves and to become more appreciative of the underdog, even to fight for them. Jupiter helps us free up our expression of personal love and affection, friendship, to be more free in showing others we truly enjoy them and care about them.

Transits like these don't necessarily make lovers appear out of thin air ... not apart from the dynamics at work in our lives, in our development. Uranus might, but may bring you an oddball that you miss, because you were looking for a pre-conceived romantic image. Jupiter might, but could be more than what you are willing to handle or let go of later once the free-ness is over.

absolutely

especially if there are natal sun or moon aspects to uranus

transit uranus conjunct natal moon or venus often brings about the one fated person you desire to be with the most, aka your soulmate

I may be wrong but so far I think it happens more to people who have their natal sun or moon in aspect to their uranus,
and most often the transit jupiter is also making some aspects to the natal sun/moon/venus

uranus is pure intelligence and when the one appears, you're gonna need to have that intelligence uranus brings to recognize that person and how "special" and "different" they are from all others

and you'll need uranus to break free from old "romantic" habits and embracing a future which eventually supports your own individual independence and desires, be it with a new person or one from your past; uranus gives you motive to follow your desires

I always thought uranus touching my natal venus would mean "sudden love!". Your informative text explains it!

Well I did met I new person that I have now been crushing on since this spring. I say crushing (or infatuation?) , because I know its not real love!
I'm almost sure he feels the same.

And this happened during spring when Jupiter was in libra for a long time of period. It was oppo my natal venus and the transit venus was conj my natal venus. Sandwich effect!

AND The transit libra jupiter was conjunct his Venus in libra, and transit venus was oppo his natal venus.
