For instance it is thought that a man who has Moon Trine Venus is very popular with women, following that logic would a woman who has Mars Trine Sun be really popular with men?

The popularity probably has a lot to do with Moon and Venus being sexual planets in man's chart. I can assume Sun Mars doing the same for woman then. Moon Venus men and Sun Mars women have it so much easier with the opposite gender. Since they already get along so well with men/women, they are the ones who actually do the choosing. And they will most likely choose the person who aspects their Moon Venus/Sun Mars better than others. In contrast, the Moon Venus woman will rather wait to be chosen by a man.

Venus Mars is not the same I think.

Venus Mars in man = Mars in aspect to sexual planet Venus ----- sex drive, sexual needs etc..in that key
if you want to look for alternative to that in woman's chart in terms of being a sexual aspect then it's probably Sun Mars in woman's chart.

Venus Mars in woman = she's sexy. I don't believe in Venus Mars man being sexy ))) sorry! I don't believe in sexy men. Period. So there's no alternative to me in that regard.

I think maybe it's better we put both sexual and popularity aspects into one category and make a list of all aspects that help one gender get along better with other gender.
