What are some common transits of big earthquakes? I seem to find astrologers stating that Uranus, Mars and Pluto in connection with each other can portend a large 6.0 or larger quake.IP: Logged |

I would say Uranus maybe? cause its a sudden shock and it's unpredictable? but can't understand what happened to trigger what happened in Mexico. IP: Logged |

Transit Jupiter is opposing Uranus. Jupiter blows up what it touches! I already covered this in my what is happening with mother nature thread. Kannon and IQ also shared their astrological perspective on this. I will bump thread for you both. IP: Logged |

I thought you were referring to the earthquake that took place in Mexico September 8th! On September 8th Transit Jupiter was opposing transit Uranus just under 5d. Yesterday Transit JUPITER was opposing transit Uranus VERY tight by 2d which is definitely tight enough without a doubt to count!!!!!!: Jupiter was in Libra @25d39 Uranus was in Aries @27d40 Astrotheme uses 2.5 degree orb for transits involving oppositions: Orbs used for transits charts
Conjunction: 2.6 Opposition: 2.5 Trine: 2.3 Square: 2.3 Sextile: 2.3 Quincunx: 1.5 Semi-sextile: 1 Semi-square: 1.3 Sesqui-square: 1.5 Quintile: 1 Bi-quintile: 1 IP: Logged |

Mexico had a quake Sep 8th and today. Japan had a big one today too. I'm worried us in Southern California are next. There was a 3.6 on Sunday which is uncommon (most quakes are 0.5-1.3) IP: Logged |

I'm curious too...The USGS has a database of Earthquakes from the last 3 months to several years. (https://earthquake.usgs.gov/) If anyone...better then me at Astrology can draw any conclusion based on the dates of the significant earthquakes 7+ magnitude and higher. I think it would be safe to safe we would have found something conclusive. 1 - 4 magnitudes are generally not considered significant. Most are rarely felt but register on the seismic detectors. If anyone can draw any correlation between the transits that took place on: May 22, 1960, Chile March 27, 1964, Alaska December 26, 2004, Indonesia March 11, 2011, Japan November 4, 1952, Russian Federation August 13, 1868, Chile All had a magnitude of 9+ or higher and are considered among the deadliest in terms of magnitude, 10 is the highest. Of course region has a difference too... an Earthquake of 9+ magnitude in a crowded downtown Mexico City would have more damage then an isolated town town in Alaska. IP: Logged |
